Land in the Borough of Timaru set apart for the Purposes of the Hurunui–Waitaki Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is Crown land, and is required to be set apart for the purpose of the Hurunui–Waitaki Railway:

And whereas by section twenty-five of the Public Works Act, 1928, it is enacted that whenever any Crown land, public reserve, or public domain is required to be set apart for any public work the Governor-General may at any time, by Proclamation, set the same apart for such public work without complying with any of the provisions of that Act in respect of the taking or setting-apart of other lands for such purpose:

Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every power and authority in anywise enabling me in that behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for the purposes of the Hurunui–Waitaki Railway at Timaru; and I also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-first day of October, one thousand nine hundred and thirty.


SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 8 perches.
Being Lot 1, D.P. 8880, and being part of Reserve No. 104, Borough of Timaru.

In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked W.R. 39858, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 3rd day of October, 1930.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land in Purua Survey District described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto.


FIRST SCHEDULE.

LAND PROCLAIMED AS A ROAD.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road: 1 acre 1 rood 12·1 perches.
Being portion of Section 79; coloured red.

SECOND SCHEDULE.

ROAD CLOSED.
