Trustees for Public Cemeteries appointed.—(H.C. 79.)

Wellington, 12th September, 1930.
HIS Excellency the Governor-General has, in pursuance of section 4 of the Cemeteries Act, 1908, been pleased to appoint Trustees for Public Cemeteries as follows:—
Wilfred Turner
to be a trustee in place of Stephen Kaunter, who has left the district, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Puketitiri Public Cemetery.
Thomas Oliver Chittenden
to be a trustee in place of Alexander Drummond, whose seat has become vacant by death, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Riwaka Public Cemetery.
John Legg
to be a trustee in place of Thomas James Gilbert, whose seat has become vacant by death, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Ellesmere Public Cemetery.
Laurence O’Sullivan
to be a trustee in place of Daniel Brophy, whose seat has become vacant by death, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Okato Public Cemetery.
John Archibald, and
Juiuis Menzies Beazley
to be trustees in place of Francis Bowering and John Henry Rudall, who have left the district, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Motukaraka Public Cemetery.

Lieutenant A. F. Peryer, from the Hawke’s Bay Regiment, to be Lieutenant, with seniority as from the 15th September, 1928, and is posted to the 1st Battalion. Dated 26th August, 1930.
The Wellington West Coast Regiment.

Lieutenant W. J. A. Morris, 4th C Battalion, to be Captain. Dated 15th May, 1930.
Lieutenant G. R. Haldane, 1st C Battalion, is transferred to the Wellington West Coast Regiment. Dated 2nd September, 1930.
Lieutenant A. F. Peryer, 1st Battalion, is transferred to the Wellington Regiment. Dated 26th August, 1930.
Lieutenant J. P. Batchelor, from the North Auckland Regiment, to be Lieutenant, with seniority as from the 1st May, 1927, and is posted to the 1st Battalion. Dated 9th September, 1930.
2nd Lieutenant D. G. Edwards, 3rd C Battalion, resigns his commission. Dated 9th September, 1930.
2nd Lieutenant (on probation) S. A. La Roche, 3rd C Battalion, resigns his commission. Dated 9th September, 1930.
The Taranaki Regiment.
Major L. S. Ashton, 1st Battalion, is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, Class I (b), R.D. 8. Dated 29th August, 1930.
Captain G. H. Weir, 1st C Battalion, to be Major. Dated 19th August, 1930.
The Southland Regiment.
The appointment of 2nd Lieutenant (on probation) A. S. Atkins, 2nd C Battalion, is confirmed.
N.Z. ARMY SERVICE CORPS.
2nd Lieutenant T. D. Ward is transferred from the Central Depot, N.Z.A.S.C., to the Southern Depot, N.Z.A.S.C., with seniority as from the 11th September, 1929. Dated 30th August, 1930.
N.Z. MEDICAL CORPS.
Captain L. Levy, M.B., is transferred to the Reserve of Officers. Dated 9th September, 1930.
N.Z. CHAPLAINS DEPARTMENT.
The Reverend H. R. Fell, Chaplain, 4th Class, Reserve List, Class I (Presbyterian), is transferred from R.D. 10 to R.D. 9. Dated 27th August, 1930.
