Authorizing the Laying-off of a Street in the Borough of Mount Eden of a Width of less than 66 ft.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 15th day of September, 1930.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby authorize the Mount Eden Borough Council to permit the laying-off of the proposed street, described in the Schedule hereto, of a width of less than sixty-six feet.

SCHEDULE.

THAT proposed street in the North Auckland Land District, Borough of Mount Eden, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 10-28 perches, more or less, being Allotments 40 and 61, Section 113, Suburbs of Auckland. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 79780, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Applying the Duties and Exemptions from Duty provided for in the Customs Amendment Act, 1930, to the Cook Islands.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

HIS Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon him by section eleven of the Customs Amendment Act, 1930, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby determine that the duties and exemptions from duty provided for in the said Act shall be in force in the Cook Islands on and from the twentieth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and thirty.

Consenting, under the Agricultural and Pastoral Societies Act, 1908, to the Sale of certain Land granted to and vested in the Golden Bay Agricultural and Pastoral Association.—(Notice No. Ag. 2925.)

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the Agricultural and Pastoral Societies Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the sale by the Golden Bay Agricultural and Pastoral Association, a society duly incorporated under the said Act, to Lewis Hill, of Takaka, Farmer, of that piece of land granted to and vested in the said association, and more particularly described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that piece of land, containing 70 acres and 18 perches, more or less, being Lots 2 and 3 of Section 113, “Takaka,” Block X, Waitapu Survey District, and being all the land comprised in Certificate of Title, Vol. 50, folio 255, Nelson Registry.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby direct the sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required for the public work for which it was acquired.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land directed to be sold: 1 rood.
Being Section 4, Block 101, Town of Waitara West.
Situated in the Borough of Waitara.
In the Taranaki Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 79781, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged pink.

Directing the Sale of Land under the Public Works Act, 1928, in Block XIV, Town of Wakaia.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby direct the sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required for the public work for which it was acquired.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land directed to be sold: 1 acre.
Being Sections 11, 12, 13, and 14.
Situated in Block XIV, Town of Wakaia (Southland R.D.).
In the Southland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 79737, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Authorizing the Judges of the Second Division of the Court of Appeal to sit with the Judges of the First Division.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section nine of the Judicature Amendment Act, 1913, it is enacted that each Division of the Court of Appeal shall sit and exercise its jurisdiction separately, save that in respect of any sitting of either Division the Governor in Council may, on the certificate of two Judges (of whom the Chief Justice shall be one) that any appeal or other proceeding is of special difficulty or importance, authorize all the Judges of the other Division to sit together with
