Altering Boundaries of Lower Mangapiko Drainage District,
County of Waipa.

BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 15th day of
September, 1930.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the Lower Mangapiko Drainage Board, being
of the opinion that certain lands situated in the
County of Waipa and not included in the Lower Mangapiko
Drainage District (hereinafter referred to as 'the said dis-
trict') are deriving benefit from the drainage-works carried
out by the said Board, did, in accordance with the provisions
of section six of the Land Drainage Amendment Act, 1913
(hereinafter referred to as 'the said Act'), present a petition
to His Excellency the Governor-General praying that the
boundaries of the said district might be altered so as to include
such lands in the said district:
And whereas in respect thereof a Commission has been
appointed to inquire and report as to the several matters
mentioned in subsection three of section six of the said Act:
And whereas the Commission so appointed has reported
that such lands should be included in the said district and
should become liable to the extent hereinafter provided for
the future levy of rates already made by the said Board:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of
the power and authority vested in him by section six of the
said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of
the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby
order and declare that the boundaries of the said district
are hereby altered so as to include in the said district the
lands described in the First Schedule hereto, and that the
boundaries of the said district shall be those described in the
Second Schedule hereto; and with the like advice and consent
doth also direct that the lands so described shall be liable for
the future levy of the special rates heretofore made and levied
by the said Board to provide for the payment of interest and
sinking fund, or interest and principal, as the case may be, in
respect of the following special loans raised by the said Board:
The Drainage Loan (1919) of two thousand five hundred
pounds and Supplementary Loan of two hundred and fifty
pounds; that portion-viz., three thousand pounds-of the Te
Rahu Subdivision Loan of three thousand five hundred pounds,
raised for the reconstruction of Mangapiko Stream, and Sup-
plementary Loan of two hundred pounds.

FIRST SCHEDULE.
AREA INCLUDED IN THE LOWER MANGAPIKO DRAINAGE
DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, bounded by a
line commencing at the south-western corner of Section 248,
Puniu Parish; thence easterly along the road forming the
southern boundary of the said Section 248, to a point in line
with the north-eastern boundary of Section 268, Puniu
Parish; thence to and along that boundary and the north-
eastern boundary of Section 277, Puniu Parish, to the south-
eastern corner of the said Section 277; thence across the
public road forming the southern boundary of the said Sec-
tion 277; thence westerly along the southern side of that
road to the westernmost corner of Section 131, Puniu Parish;
thence along a right line to the southernmost corner of Lot 1
on plan 2795, deposited in the office of the District Land
Registrar at Auckland; thence along the north-eastern and
eastern boundaries of the Te Awamutu-Hamilton Road to
the Mangapiko Stream; thence down the Mangapiko Stream
to the western side of the Te Awamutu-Hamilton Road;
thence northerly along that side to a point in line with the
south-western corner of Section 248, Puniu Parish; thence
along a right line to the south-western corner of Section 248
aforesaid, the place of commencement.

SECOND SCHEDULE.
LOWER MANGAPIKO DRAINAGE DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, bounded by a
line commencing at the northernmost corner of Section 134,
Mangapiko Parish; thence south-easterly generally along the
middle of the road forming the northern boundary of the
said Section 134, to the easternmost corner of Section 21,
Mangapiko Parish; thence easterly along the middle of the
road forming the southern boundary of Section 36, Mangapiko
Parish, to the north-eastern corner of Section 57, Mangapiko
Parish; thence northerly along the middle of the Te
Awamutu-Hamilton Road to the road forming the northern
boundary of Puniu Parish; thence easterly along the middle
of that road to the road forming the eastern boundary of
Section 217, Puniu Parish; thence to and along the eastern
side of that road to the south-western corner of Section 287,
Puniu Parish; thence along the southern boundary of Sec-
tion 287 aforesaid to the north-eastern corner of Section 288;
thence along the eastern boundary of Section 288 and the
northern and eastern boundaries of Section 289 and the
eastern boundary of Section 290, Puniu Parish, to the south-
eastern corner of the last-mentioned section; thence along
the southern boundary of Section 292, Puniu Parish, to the
north-western boundary of Section 301, Puniu Parish; thence
along the north-western and north-eastern boundaries of said
Section 301 to the road at its north-eastern corner; thence
across that road and southerly along its eastern side to the
south-western corner of Section 309, Puniu Parish; thence
along the southern boundary of said Section 309 to its south-
eastern corner; thence along the eastern boundary of Sec-
tions 310 and 311, Puniu Parish, to the south-eastern corner
of the last-mentioned section; thence westerly along the
south-western boundary of the said Section 311 to the public
road forming its western boundary; thence southerly along
the eastern side of that road to the southernmost corner of
Section 196, Puniu Parish; thence north-westerly along the
south-western side of that road to the westernmost corner of
Section 131, Puniu Parish; thence along a right line to the
southernmost corner of Section 250, Puniu Parish; thence
along the western boundary of Section 250 aforesaid to the
Mangapiko Stream; thence down the Mangapiko Stream to
the eastern boundary of Section 317, Mangapiko Parish;
thence south-westerly along that boundary to a public road;
thence along that road to the eastern boundary of Section 242;
thence along that boundary to the Pirongia Road; thence
along that road to the road junction on the south-western
boundary of Section 251, Mangapiko Parish; thence north-
westerly along the road forming the south-western boundary
of Sections 251 and 254, Mangapiko Parish, to the south-
western corner of Section 292, Mangapiko Parish; thence
northerly along the western boundary of the said Section 292
to Kane Street; thence along Kane Street to Franklin Street;
thence northerly along Franklin Street to and across the
Mangapiko Stream; thence to and along the road forming
the north-western boundary of Section 100, Mangapiko
Parish; thence along the road passing Sections 89, 91, 92,
107, 108, 109, 110, 111, 112, 121, 122, 153, 133, to the northern-
most corner of Section 134, Mangapiko Parish, the point
of commencement.

Revoking certain Regulations under the War Funds Act, 1915.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 8th day of
September, 1930.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCE THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the eighth day of
May, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, and
published in the New Zealand Gazette of the eleventh day of
May, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, regulations
(hereinafter referred to as 'the said regulations'), were
made under the War Funds Act, 1915 (hereinafter referred to
as 'the said Act'):
And whereas by Order in Council dated the twenty-seventh
day of February, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen,
and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twenty-
eight day of February, one thousand nine hundred and
eighteen, amending regulations (hereinafter referred to as
'the amending regulations') were made under the said
Act:
And whereas it is desirable to revoke certain of the said
regulations as amended by the amending regulations:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of
the power and authority conferred upon him by the said Act,
and of every other power and authority enabling him in that
behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke
clauses seven and eight and forms numbered three and four
in the Schedule of the said regulations, as amended by the
amending regulations.
