Authorizing Glen Eden Town Board to fix Water Charges according to Quantity used.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 8th day of September, 1930.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by section eleven of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act, 1928, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the Glen Eden Town Board making and levying water rates and charges in respect both of the ordinary as well as of any extraordinary supply, according to the quantity of water consumed by any person receiving the same as measured by meter, at such rates or charges as may from time to time be fixed by any by-law of the Board in that behalf, or as may be agreed on with any such person.

Authorizing the Laying-off of a Street in the City of Christchurch of a Width of less than 66 ft., but not less than 40 ft.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 8th day of September, 1930.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby authorize the Christchurch City Council to permit the laying-off of the proposed street, described in the Schedule hereto, of a width of less than sixty-six feet but not less than forty feet.
SCHEDULE.
THAT proposed street in the Canterbury Land District, City of Christchurch, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 2·9 perches, more or less, being part Town Sections 600, 601, 602, and 603. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 77529, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured pink.

Cancelling the Reservation over a Reserve in Mangonui Parish, North Auckland Land District.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 8th day of September, 1930.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby cancel the reservation for a site for a public hospital over the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.
