Bringing certain Provisions of the Mining Act into Force within a certain Part of New Zealand.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 5th day of August, 1930.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section four hundred and fourteen, subsection one, of the Mining Act, 1926, it is provided that the Governor-General, by Order in Council, may from time to time declare that any of the provisions of the Mining Act, 1926, shall apply to prospecting and mining for and the storage of petroleum and other mineral oils and of natural gas, and also define the districts within which any such Order in Council shall take effect:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by the said section four hundred and fourteen, subsection one, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby declare that the provisions of the Mining Act, 1926, set out in the First Schedule hereto shall apply to prospecting and mining for and the storage of petroleum and other mineral oils and of natural gas within the district described in the Second Schedule hereto.

THE Mining Act, 1926—

Consenting to Land being taken for the Purposes of a Technical School in the Borough of Petone.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 11th day of August, 1930.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the land described in the Schedule hereto being taken for the purposes of a technical school.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land permitted to be taken: 23·47 perches.
Being Lot 10, D.P. 8102, and being part Section 6.
Situated in Block XIII, Belmont Survey District (Hutt R.D.), (Borough of Petone). (S.O. 2539.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 77984, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Directing the Sale of Land under the Public Works Act, 1928, in Block III, Maioro Survey District.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 11th day of August, 1930.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby direct the sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required for the public work for which it was acquired.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land directed to be sold: 1 acre 2 roods 6 perches.
Being portion of Allotment 313, Waipipi Parish.
Situated in Block III, Maioro Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 25827.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 79228, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 11th day of August, 1930.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a Government road.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road declared to be a Government road: 2 acres 2 roods.
Adjoining or passing through part Te Pua Block, D.P. 10354.
Situated in Block XV, Omapere Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 25595.)
