Land taken for the Purposes of a Worker’s Dwelling in Block XIV, Ngamatea Survey District, Wanganui County.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a worker’s dwelling, and shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Wanganui, as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-fifth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and thirty.

Amending the Constitution of a Special Board created for the Purpose of controlling the Gates of the Kawarau Falls Dam.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 11th day of August, 1930.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section one hundred and ninety of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal and Public Bodies Empowering Act, 1924, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the appointment made under his hand on the twenty-third day of August, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six, as appears in a supplement to the New Zealand Gazette of the nineteenth day of the same month, of Arthur Cooper Leary, Esquire, as member of a special Board for the purpose of determining when the gates of the dam at Kawarau Falls, Lake Wakatipu, shall be opened and closed; and doth hereby appoint Ernest Wilfred Hayman, Esquire, as member of the said Board.

Authorizing the Laying-off of a Street in the Borough of Lower Hutt of a Width of less than 66 ft. but not less than 40 ft., subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 11th day of August, 1930.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby authorize the Lower Hutt Borough Council to permit the laying-off of the proposed street, described in the Schedule hereto, of a width of less than sixty-six feet but not less than forty feet, subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the said street within a distance of forty-five feet from the centre-line of the said street.

THAT proposed street in the Wellington Land District, Borough of Lower Hutt, containing by admeasurement 2 roods 10·54 perches, more or less, being parts Sections 28 and 29 (Hall-Jones Settlement), Block XIV, Belmont Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 78798, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured pink.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 79419, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
