at a point marked 13 m. 25·50 chs., situated opposite Te Kouma No. 3 Block, Block IX, Coromandel Survey District; and proceeding in a north-easterly direction generally for a distance of approximately 1 m. 38·5 chs. and passing in, into, through, or over the following lands, &c.—viz., the said Te Kouma No. 3 Block, Lots 1 and 3, Parish of Waiau, Block IX, Coromandel Survey District, as shown on L.T. plan 13227, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland (being parts of Maungakawa No. 1, Tokatea, Maungakawa No. 2, Totara-Whakaturia No. 4, Te Waha-o-te-Parata and Opu Nos. 2 and 5 Blocks) and Totara-Whakaturia part 4, 3, and 2b Blocks, Block IX, Coromandel Survey District, and terminating at a point on the said Thames-Coromandel Main Highway marked 14 m. 64 chs., opposite the north-eastern corner of the said Lot 3, Parish of Waiau; including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses: all in the Auckland Land District. As the same is delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 78984, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 25th day of July, 1930.

Defining the Middle-line of a further Portion of the South Island Main Trunk Railway (Parnassus Northwards), (50 m. 58 ch. to 56 m.).

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the middle-line of a further portion of the South Island Main Trunk Railway (Parnassus northwards) shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto.


SCHEDULE.

COMMENCING at a point in the middle of the Conway River marked 50 miles 58 chains (which point is identical with the point marked 50 m. 58 ch. on plan P.W.D. 77680 mentioned in a Proclamation published in the New Zealand Gazette of the 30th day of January, 1930), and proceeding thence in a north-easterly and then easterly direction generally for a distance of approximately 5 miles 22 chains, and passing in, into, through, or over the following lands, &c.—viz.: Sections 15, 2, 51, 52, 55, and 56, Block XIX, Hundalee Survey District, Sections 85, 57, 58, 59, 84, 1, and 2, Block XX, Hundalee Survey District, and Section 4, Block XXI, Hundalee Survey District; and terminating at a point in the said Section 4, marked 56 miles; including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses: all in the Marlborough Land District. As the same is delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 79288 (2 sheets), deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 25th day of July, 1930.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land in Matakitaki Survey District described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto.


FIRST SCHEDULE.

LAND PROCLAIMED AS A ROAD.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land proclaimed as a road:—

All situated in Block X, Matakitaki Survey District (Nelson R.D.). (S.O. 702r.)

All in the Nelson Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 79291, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
