Whangarei Borough Council's Abattoir made available for the Purposes of the District of the Kamo Town Board.—(Notice No. Ag. 2903.)
IN pursuance of paragraph (f) of section 15 of the Slaughtering and Inspection Act, 1908, it is hereby notified that the abattoir authorized to be established by the Whangarei Borough Council for the district comprising the Borough of Whangarei has, by agreement between the said Borough Council and the Kamo Town Board, been made available for the purposes of the Kamo Town District, and that the said Borough Council is the controlling authority of the said abattoir for the purposes of the abattoir district as so extended.

Notice of Intention to take Land in Blocks VI and IX, Aongatete Survey District, Tauranga County, for the Purposes of a Road.
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, to execute a certain public work—to wit, the construction of a road—and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken: And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Omokoroa, and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.

IT is hereby notified for public information that, in terms of section 3 of the Stock Amendment Act, 1927, and of the Standard Marks Stock Regulations, 1929, I have registered in the name of the New Zealand Pig Breeders’ Association (Incorporated)—
(1) The mark set forth in Part I of the Schedule hereto as a standard mark to be placed, by means of an earmarking instrument, on the left ear of stock intended for export which, in the opinion of the said association, is of a standard of merit fixed by the said association; and
(2) The mark set forth in Part II of the said Schedule as a standard mark to be placed, by means of an earmarking instrument, on the left ear of imported stock which, in the opinion of the said association, is of a standard of merit fixed by the said association.
