Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by section one hundred and twenty-two of the said Act, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the proceedings in connection with the said loan shall be valid to all intents and purposes as though the term of the said loan had been stated in the notice published pursuant to section ten of the said Act, and that the validity of the proceedings in connection with the said loan, or the validity of the security for the said loan, shall not be called in question by reason only of the irregularity or defect aforesaid.

Vesting the Control of a Reserve in the Opotiki County Council.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 6th day of June, 1930.

Present:

THE HONOURABLE G. W. FORBES, PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for a resting-place for travelling stock: And whereas it is expedient that the control of the said reserve should be vested in the Opotiki County Council:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section seventeen of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby vest the control of the said reserve in the Opotiki County Council.

GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT.

Lot 2 of Section 3A, Block XVI, Waioeka Survey District: Area, 2 roods 20 perches.

Notifying Land in Auckland Land District for Sale by Public Auction for Cash or on Deferred Payments.

BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.

IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section one hundred and thirty-two of the Land Act, 1924, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Friday, the twenty-second day of August, one thousand nine hundred and thirty, as the time at which the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be sold by public auction for cash or on deferred payments, and I do hereby fix the prices at which the said lands shall be sold as those mentioned in the said Schedule hereto.


SCHEDULE.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.

Town Land.—Te Kuiti Township.

SECTION 5, Block III: Area, 1 rood 2·7 perches. Upset price, £174.

Corner section, with a frontage to Taupiri and Alexandra Streets, half a mile from Te Kuiti Railway-station and a quarter of a mile from school. Level land, at present covered with gorse and blackberry. A good residential-site in suitable locality.

Lots 1 and 2 of Section 12, Block XIX: Area, 3 roods 24·75 perches. Upset price, £235.

Sections have a frontage to the junction of King and Tawhana Streets, approximately a quarter of a mile distant from the post-office and railway-station. Frontage steep, sections rising in a gradual slope to the back. Suitable as residential-sites.

Lots 3 and 4 of Section 12, Block XIX: Area, 3 roods 30·89 perches. Upset price, £235.

SCHEDULE.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.—THIRD-CLASS LAND.

Waimarino County.—Manganui Survey District.

For Sale for Cash only.

SECTIONS 8 to 12, Block XVI: Area, 540 acres. Upset price, £270.

The sections are situated on the Makotuku Valley Road, one and a half miles distant by good metalled road from Horopito Railway-station. The area comprises milled bush. Approximately 300 acres are level; balance undulating to steep and gory. Soil is of light quality loam resting on sandstone and papa formation. Well watered. Altitude 2,200 ft. to 2,400 ft. above sea-level. General quality of section is poor.

There are 60 chains of boundary-fence on the sections for which the incoming tenant will be liable for half cost.

SCHEDULE.

SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT.—THIRD-CLASS LAND.

Southland County.—Campbelltown Hundred.

SECTION 68, Block IX, and Section 10, Block X, Campbelltown Hundred: Total area, 1,563 acres 1 rood 2 poles. Upset price, £425.

Weighted with £100 for improvements. This sum must be paid in cash.

Situated four miles and a half from Mokotua Railway-station, post-office, and school. Altitude, 65 ft. above sea-level. About two-thirds fair land; balance peat and moss. The road is metalled for a distance of three miles.
