Land set apart as Provisional State Forest declared to be subject

A PROCLAMATION.
I N pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by section twenty of the Forests
Act, 1921–22, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting on the recommendation
dation of the Minister of Lands, do hereby proclaim and
declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being
portion of the Provisional State Forest Reserve No. 1591, set
apart by Proclamation dated the eleventh day of October,
one thousand nine hundred and twenty, and gazetted on the
fourteenth day of that month, is required for settlement purposes; and, in accordance with the provisions of the said
Act, such land shall, from and after the day of gazetting
hereof, cease to be a provisional State forest, and shall become
subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Westland Land District, containing by
admeasurement 6 acres 1 rood 26 perches, more or less, being
portion of Provisional State Forest Reserve 1591, situated
in Block II, Temiko Survey District, and bounded towards
the north by the Waiwhio Stream ; towards the west by
Greymouth-Westport Main Road ; towards the south by
Native Reserve 35, and from the north-eastern corner of that
reserve following in the order and direction given lines of the
following bearings and distances : 113° 45', 259·6 links ; 87°
07', 189·1 links ; 179° 04', 831·7 links ; 89° 01', 600·4 links;
and thence by a line bearing 359° 01' to the south bank of
the aforesaid Waiwhio Stream. As the same is delineated on
the plan marked L. and S. 6/5/182, deposited in the Head
Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and
thereon edged green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 17th day of April,
1930.

of Provisional State Forest Reserve No. 40, set apart by
Proclamation dated the twenty-fourth day of January, one
thousand nine hundred and twenty-three, and gazetted on the
first day of February, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-
three, is required for settlement purposes ; and, in accordance
with the provisions of the said Act, such land shall, from and
after the day of the gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional
State forest, and shall become subject to the provisions of
the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Gisborne Land District, containing by
admeasurement 170 acres, more or less, being Section 4,
Block III, Waioeka South Survey District. As the same is
more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S.
22/2522, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands
and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 16th day of April,
1930.

I N pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Charles,
Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, do hereby proclaim as closed the roads in Nukumaru
Survey District, described in the Schedule hereto.

deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and
Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2360, and thereon coloured
green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency. the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 16th day of April,
1930.

Amending a Proclamation revoking the Reservation of a
Permanent State Forest.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by a Proclamation dated the sixteenth day
of December, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-
nine, and published in the Gazette of the nineteenth day of
that month (hereinafter referred to as "the said Proclama-
tion"), the reservation over Section 119, Block VI, Cape
Survey District, Taranaki Land District, was revoked pur-
suant to the Forests Act, 1921–22 :
And whereas an error was made in the said Proclamation
by describing the area of the said Section 119, Block VI,
Cape Survey District, as fifty-seven acres, and it is desirable
that the error be rectified :
Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance
and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section
three of the Forests Amendment Act, 1925, do hereby amend
the said Proclamation by substituting for the area set out
in the Schedule to the said Proclamation the following area-
namely, fifty-one acres.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 14th day of April,
1930.

Amending a Proclamation setting apart Lands as Provisional
State Forests.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by a Proclamation dated the twenty-ninth
day of April, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen,
and published in the Gazette of the eighth day of May, one
thousand nine hundred and nineteen, at page 1283 (hereinafter
referred to as "the said Proclamation"), an area of twenty-
eight thousand acres of land situated in Humboldt, Dart, and
Earnslaw Survey Districts, Otago Land District, and eight
hundred and fifty acres of land known as Runs 346B, 346c,
and Reserve C, Otago Land District, were, inter alia, set
