land shall, as from a date to be specified in the Proclamation,
cease to be national-endowment land:
And whereas the fee-simple of the land described in the
Schedule hereto (being land heretofore held under the tenures
specified in the said Schedule) has been acquired, and it is
expedient that the said land should cease to be national-
endowment land:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers
and authorities conferred upon me by the aforesaid section
three hundred and two of the Land Act, 1924, I, Charles,
Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after
the dates specified in the Schedule hereto the lands described
in the said Schedule, which were set apart as national-
endowment lands under the provisions of section two hundred
and fifty-eight of the Land Act, 1908; ceased to be national-
endowment land.
SCHEDULE.
GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT.
NATIONAL ENDOWMENT.
RUN No. 89, Moanui: Area, 4,122 acres 1 rood 24 perches.
Tenure: Small grazing-run lease. Date: 10th August,
1929.
Run No. 62, Blocks V, VIII, Hangaroa and Tuahau Survey
Districts: Area, 3,210 acres. Tenure: Small grazing-run
lease. Date: 8th July, 1929.
WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT.
Section 2703, Block XIV, Mawheraiti Survey District:
Area, 33 acres. Tenure: Regulation License. Date: 16th
January, 1930.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 16th day of
April, 1930.

to the Land Act, 1924.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by section twenty of the Forests Act,
1921-22, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting on the recommendation
of the Minister of Lands, do hereby proclaim and declare
that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being portion
of Provisional State Forest Reserve No. 42, set apart by
Proclamation dated the ninth day of July, one thousand
nine hundred and twenty-three, and gazetted on the twelfth
day of that month, is required for settlement purposes; and,
in accordance with the provisions of the said Act, such land
shall, from and after the day of gazetting hereof, cease to be
a provisional State forest, and shall become subject to the
provisions of the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Otago Land District, containing by
admeasurement 137 acres 3 roods 37 perches, more or less,
being part of Section 28, Block X, Woodland Survey District,
and bounded as follows: Towards the north by other part
of said Section 28, 4721·1 links; towards the east generally
by a public road 5,322·8 links, the crossing of a public road
100 links wide, and again by a public road, 2152·6 links;
towards the south by a public road, 1,073·6 links; towards
the west and south by Section 34, 601 links and 650 links
respectively; towards the west by Sections 14 and 17, Block
IX, 4746·3 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less,
and excepting from the above-described parcel of land one
intersecting public road 100 links wide, a deduction for which
has been made from the area. As the same is more particu-
larly shown on the plan marked L. and S. X/101/17, deposited
in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at
Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

admeasurement 9 acres 3 roods 3·65 perches, more or less,
being portion of Provisional State Forest No. 140, by Gazette,
1927, page 701: Bounded on the north-west and north-east
generally by a public road, 748·4, 283·6, 591·1, 580·6, 350·0
566·9, and 192·8 links respectively; towards the south-east
by Section 7, Block XIII, Tairua Survey District, 303·9,
914·5, and 160·6 links; and towards the south-west by part
Provisional State Forest No. 140, by Gazette, 1927, page 701,
410·0 links: be all the aforesaid linkages a little more or less.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan
marked L. and S. 26/25719, deposited in the Head Office,
Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon
edged red.
Also all that area in the Auckland Land District, containing
by admeasurement 2 roods 18·7 perches, more or less, being
portion of Provisional State Forest No. 140, by Gazette, 1927,
page 701: Bounded towards the north-east and south-east
generally by Section 7, Block XIII, Tairua Survey District,
209·3, 152·9, and 131·7 links respectively; towards the
south-west and north-west by a public road, 151·1 and 426·1
links: be all the aforesaid linkages a little more or less. As
the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked
L. and S. 26/25719, deposited in the Head Office, Department
of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

ALL that area in the Nelson Land District, containing
183 acres, more or less, being Section 6, Block XI, Wakapuaka
Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated
on the plan marked L. and S. 9/2332, deposited in the Head
Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and
thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 16th day of
April, 1930.
