At the Government House at Wellington, this 14th day of April, 1930.

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the Whakatane County Council stopping the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto.

Authorizing the Marlborough Electric-power Board to construct Electric Works.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this 14th day of April, 1930.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Electric-power Boards Act, 1925, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby authorize the Marlborough Electric-power Board to construct a stand-by plant consisting of a six hundred and thirty horse-power Diesel generating plant, together with all necessary accessories and buildings, upon part Section 67, Block 16, D.P. 1065, Cloudy Bay Survey District; provided that the works hereby authorized shall be constructed so as to comply with the regulations made under section two of the Public Works Amendment Act, 1922, dated the eleventh day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twelfth day of the same month, or with any regulations made in amendment thereof or in substitution therefor, which regulations shall be deemed to be incorporated herein.

Domain Board appointed to have control of the Tauranga Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 14th day of April, 1930.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty - four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

His Worship the Mayor of Tauranga, ex officio, Denis Aquila Ivory, James Neal, Albert Edward Newsham, Leonard Norris, Samuel Pemberton, and Charles Whiting

to be the Tauranga Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Tuesday, the sixth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and thirty, at half past seven o'clock p.m., as the time when, and Mr. D. A. Ivory's Rooms, Bank Chambers, Wharf Street, Tauranga, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.

TAURANGA DOMAIN.

All that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 18 acres 1 rood 29 perches, more or less, being Allotments 393 and 273 of Section 1, Tauranga Township, and stopped portions of Brown and McLean Streets: Bounded towards the north generally by Allotment 394 of Section 1, Tauranga Township, 940 links; towards the east generally by Cameron Road, 1256 and 811 links; towards the south by Hamilton Street, 957 links ; and towards the west generally by Waikareao Estuary: Be all the aforesaid linkages a little more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan marked L. and S. 1/388A, deposited in the Head Office Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
