And whereas a period of three years has elapsed during
which no trustees have held office for the said Drainage
District under the said Act:
And whereas it is desirable to abolish the said district:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of
the powers and authorities conferred on him by the said Act
and the Land Drainage Amendment Act, 1922, and acting by
and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of
the said Dominion, doth hereby abolish the said Kimihia
Drainage District as from the date of the publication hereof
in the New Zealand Gazette.

Authorizing the Laying-off of a Street in the Borough of Takapuna
of a Width of less than 66 ft., but not less than 40 ft.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this 14th day of
April, 1930.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by
the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, the Public Works
Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in
this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth
hereby authorize the Takapuna Borough Council to permit the
laying-off of the proposed street described in the Schedule
hereto of a width of less than sixty-six feet but not less than
forty feet.


SCHEDULE.

THAT proposed street, being an extension of Frater Avenue, in
the North Auckland Land District, Borough of Takapuna,
containing by admeasurement 30·16 perches, more or less, being
portion of Lot 5, D.P. 6340, of Lot 10 of Allotment 84, Parish
of Takapuna. As the same is more particularly delineated
on the plan marked P.W.D. 78269, deposited in the office of
the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon
edged red.

Altering and redefining the Boundaries of the Lochiel Rabbit
District.—(Notice No. Ag. 2894.)

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 14th day of
April, 1930.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by the Rabbit Nuisance Act, 1928 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), it is enacted
that the Governor-General, at the request of the Board of
any rabbit district, may by Order in Council alter and redefine
the boundaries of its district:
And whereas the district known as “The Lochiel Rabbit
District” (hereinafter referred to as “the said district”)
has been constituted under and for the purposes of the said
Act:
And whereas the Board of the said district has, pursuant
to section thirty-one of the said Act, requested that the
boundaries of its district be altered and redefined, and it is
deemed expedient to give effect to such request:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers
and authorities conferred upon him by the said Act, His
Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby alter
and redefine the boundaries of the said district so constituted
as aforesaid, and doth hereby declare that the boundaries of
the said district shall be those set forth in the Schedule hereto,
and that the name of the said district and the members of
the Board of the said district shall continue as at present
existing, subject to the provisions of the said Act, and doth
further declare that this Order in Council shall take effect
from the date of the publication hereof in the Gazette.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the New River Hundred and Winton
Hundred, in the Southland Land District, bounded by a
line from the south-east corner of Section 29, Block II, New
River Hundred, in a northerly direction along the eastern
boundary-lines of Sections 29, 28, 27, 26, 25, Block II, New
River Hundred, and Sections 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, and 29,
Block III, New River Hundred; thence in a westerly direction along the Wilson’s Crossing Road to the Invercargill-Kingston Railway line; thence in a northerly direction along
the said railway-line to the north-east corner of Section 16,
Block I, Winton Hundred; thence in a westerly direction
along the northern boundary-lines of Sections 16 and 9,
Block I, Winton Hundred, Sections 10, 11, and 12, Block
VII, Winton Hundred, to the Oreti River; thence following
the Oreti River in a southerly direction to the Invercargill-Riverton Railway line; thence in an easterly and south-easterly direction generally along the said railway-line to the
Makarewa Railway bridge; thence in an easterly direction
generally along the Makarewa River to the commencing-point.

Amending Regulations under the Stock Act, 1908, for the
Prevention of the Introduction into New Zealand of Diseases
affecting Stock.—(Notice No. Ag. 2895.)

At the Government House at Wellington, this 14th day of
April, 1930.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by Order in Council made on the fourth day
of October, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen,
and published in the Gazette on the seventh day of the same
month at page 3420, regulations (hereinafter referred to as
“the principal regulations”) were made under the Stock Act,
1908 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), for the
prevention of the introduction into the Dominion of disease
as defined in the said Act:
And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, the
unrestricted introduction into the Dominion of any organic
refuse, garbage, galley scraps, or other waste from any vessel
sailing from other countries is likely to introduce into the
Dominion disease as aforesaid:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers
and authorities conferred upon him by the said Act, His
Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby amend
the principal regulations by prohibiting absolutely the introduction into the Dominion from any vessel sailing from other
countries of any organic refuse, garbage, galley scraps, or other
waste, and doth hereby declare that this Order in Council
shall come into force on the date of the publication hereof in
the Gazette.

Cancelling a Condition as to setting-back the Building-line
of Portion of Stanley Street, in the City of Wellington,
imposed by Order in Council under Section 117 of the
Public Works Act, 1905.

the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers
in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said Dominion, doth hereby amend the Order in
Council dated the fifth day of August, one thousand nine
hundred and seven, and published in the New Zealand Gazette,
No. 71, of the eighth day of August, one thousand nine
hundred and seven, exempting Stanley Street, in the city of
Wellington, from the provisions of section one hundred and
