Authorizing the Laying-off of a Road of less Width than 66 ft.
WHEREAS, in the opinion of the Minister of Lands, it
is inexpedient, by reason of the fact that the land
shown upon the plan of Town of Fendalton Extension No. 14A,
affecting part Rural Sections 60 and 188, in Block X, Christ-
church Survey District, is intended to be used wholly for
residential purposes, that the new road shown therein should
be of the width of 66 ft.:
Now, therefore, I, George William Forbes, Minister of
Lands, do hereby, in pursuance of the power conferred upon
me by section 17, subsection (1), of the Land Act, 1924, and
of every other power me thereunto enabling, authorize the
laying-off of such road of a width of not less than 50 ft.:
Provided always that it shall not be lawful for any person
to erect or cause to be erected any building at a less distance
than 33 ft. from the middle of such road.
Given under my hand, this 8th day of April, 1930.

a less distance than 33 ft. from the middle of such roads.

Notice of Intention to take Land in Blocks XIII and XIV, Koranga Survey District, for the Purposes of a Road.
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the
provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, to execute
a certain public work—to wit, the construction of a road,
and for the purposes of such work the land described in the
Schedule hereto is required to be taken. And notice is hereby
further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken
is deposited in the Post-office at Wharekopae, and is there
open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the
execution of the said public work or by the taking of the
said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections
to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of
such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing,
within forty days from the first publication of this notice,
to the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington.

APPROXIMATE area od the piece of land required to be taken:

Being portion of Manuoha Block.
Situated in Blocks XIII and XIV, Koranga Survey District
