Member of Island Council of Rakahanga under the Cook Islands
Act, 1915, appointed.
BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.
PURSUANT to the authority vested in me by section
sixty-five of the Cook Islands Act, 1915, and by an
Order in Council of the twenty-first day of March, one thousand
nine hundred and sixteen, establishing (inter alia) an Island
Council for the Island of Rakahanga in the Cook Islands, and
determining the constitution thereof, I, Charles, Baron
Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand,
do hereby nominate and appoint
Tupou Rahi,
of Rakahanga, to be a member of the said Island Council of
Rakahanga, in lieu of Abrahama (resigned), to hold office
during my pleasure as from the date hereof.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, this 3rd day
of April, 1930.

H IS Excellency the Administrator of the Government
has, in pursuance of section 4 of the Cemeteries Act,
1908, been pleased to appoint trustees for Public Cemeteries
as follows :-
Thomas Partridge,
Henry Thomas Richards, and
Alexander John Smith,
to be trustees in place of Mathew Joseph Kinnane, Philip
Klein, and Francis John Templeman, whose seats have become
vacant by resignation, to provide for the maintenance and
care of the Keritehere Public Cemetery.
Eugene John Hurley, and
Alexander Grant McCallum Kirkpatrick Simpson,
to be trustees in place of Henry Joseph Dalton McManaway,
whose seat has become vacant by resignation, and Alexander
Grant Simpson, whose seat has become vacant by death,
to provide for the maintenance and care of the Hunterville
Public Cemetery.
John Dennis, and
Christopher McMillan,
to be trustees in place of John Philip Uren, who has left
the district, and Henry Wilkie, whose seat has become vacant
by death, to provide for the maintenance and care of the
Waikaia Public Cemetery.
Harold Edgar Whitaker,
to be trustee in place of Harold Edgar Whitaker, sen., whose
seat has become vacant by death, to provide for the main-
tenance and care of the Whangateau Public Cemetery.
Robert Graham,
to be trustee in place of William Aubrey Nicholls, whose seat
has become vacant by resignation, to provide for the main-
tenance and care of the Belfast Public Cemetery.
