from Waitomo Caves School, post-office, and store ; and eight miles from Te Anga Saleyards. Section is undulating to broken—steep in places. About 400 acres have been felled and grassed, now reverted to second growth. Eight hundred acres open country ; balance in medium to heavy bush comprising tawa, rimu, rata, &c., with a dense undergrowth of supplejack, punga, &c. ; well watered by permanent streams. The soil is of a poor quality on limestone and sandstone formation.

Rotorua County.—Rotorua Survey District.

Section 3A, Block IX : Area, 200 acres. Capital value, £50. Half-yearly rent, £1.

Situated about three miles by formed clay road from Mamaku School, post-office, and store. The nearest dairy factory is at Ngongotaha, twelve miles distant, cream being railed from Mamaku Station. Undulating to hilly land, covered with mixed bush, comprising rimu, tawa, birch, &c., with mixed undergrowth. The soil is a light loam on pumice formation. Poorly watered. Ragwort and blackberry spreading.

Warrant authorizing the Patangata County Council to construct a Bridge over the Tukituki River, on the Wellington—Napier via Wairarapa Main Highway (together with Approaches thereto), and apportioning the Cost.

BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in me by section one hundred and thirty-five of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers and authorities in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby authorize the Patangata County Council to construct the bridge (together with approaches thereto) described in the Schedule hereto ; and I do also declare that the cost thereof, less such contribution (if any) as may be made thereto by the Government of New Zealand or the Main Highways Board, shall be borne by the Patangata County Council, the Waipawa County Council, the Waipukurau Borough Council, and the Waipukurau County Council in the following proportions—viz., the Patangata County Council shall pay twenty-seven and one-half (27½) per centum, the Waipawa County Council shall pay thirty (30) per centum, the Waipukurau Borough Council shall pay twenty-five (25) per centum, and the Waipukurau County Council shall pay seventeen and one-half (17½) per centum of such cost respectively ; and I do further direct that any contribution hereby required to be made as aforesaid by the Waipawa County Council, the Waipukurau Borough Council, and the Waipukurau County Council shall be paid from time to time, in the proportion hereinbefore prescribed, out of the funds of the said Councils within a period of one month after demand in writing made by or on behalf of the Patangata County Council ; and all such payments shall be made from time to time to the Clerk of the Patangata County Council for and on behalf of the said Councils.


SCHEDULE.

THAT bridge in the Hawke’s Bay Land District over the Tukituki River at Waipukurau, on the Wellington—Napier via Wairarapa Main Highway (together with approaches thereto) on the boundary between the County of Waipawa and the Borough of Waipukurau. As the site of the said bridge and approaches is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 74012, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 5th day of April, 1930.

Authorizing the Waimarino County Council to sell Timber upon Portions of a certain County Road in the Waimarino County.

BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me by section one hundred and forty of the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby authorize the Waimarino County Council to sell or contract to sell and remove timber upon portions of a certain county road adjoining part Sections 28 and 27, Block XI, Manganui Survey District, and portions of unnumbered sections in Blocks XII and XV, Manganui Survey District. As the said portions of road are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 78176, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red and green.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 5th day of April, 1930.

Altering Constitution of the Transport Appeal Board for No. 3 Motor-omnibus District.

BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on me by section sixteen of the Motor-omnibus Traffic Act, 1926, and of all other powers and authorities in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the appointment made under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand the first day of November, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six, of George Wildish and Lewis John Coham as members of the Transport Appeal Board of No. 3 Motor-omnibus District, and do hereby appoint the persons named in the First Column of the Schedule hereto to be members of the Transport Appeal Board of No. 3 Motor-omnibus District, representing local authorities, public bodies, and persons, as set out in the Second Column of the Schedule hereto.
