Land taken for the Purposes of the Taieri Plain Flood-protection Works in Blocks IV and V, Maungatua Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Taieri Plain Flood-protection Works, and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-seventh day of January, one thousand nine hundred and thirty.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a fire-brigade station site, and shall vest in the Auckland Fire Board as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-seventh day of January, one thousand nine hundred and thirty.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 rood 1·73 perches.

Being Lot 6 on D.P. 17514, being part Allotment 24, District of Tamaki.

Situated in Block IX, Rangitoto Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 25467.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 77418, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 13th day of January, 1930.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a worker’s dwelling, and shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Matakaoa, as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-seventh day of January, one thousand nine hundred and thirty.


SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 9 acres 2 roods 20 perches.

Being portion of Wharekahika No. 17 Block.

Situated in Block V, Matakaoa Survey District (Gisborne R.D.). (S.O. 1357, brown.)

In the Gisborne Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 77177, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured pink.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 13th day of January, 1930.
