At the Government House at Wellington, this llth day of
March, 1930.
Present:
His Excellency The Administrator of the Government
in Council.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains,
and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Administrator
of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand,
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
Samuel Ward Beer,
Edward Arthur Collins,
Thomas James Coxhead.
John Joseph Horgan,
John Templeton,
Francis Tindle, and
Robert Charles Watson
to be the Punehu Domain Board, having control of the
land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby
appoint Friday, the twenty-eighth day of March, one
thousand nine hundred and thirty, at eight o'clock p.m., as
the time when, and the Hall, Te Kiri, as the place where,
the first meeting of the Board shall be held.
SCHEDULE.
TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT: PUNEHU DOMAIN.
Sections 1, 2, 5, 6, and 41, Punehu Village, Block XI,
Opunake Survey District : Area, 7 acres.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by subsection four of section twelve
of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal Act, 1928, I,
Sir Michael Myers, Administrator of the Government of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do
hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to
be a public reserve under the Public Reserves, Domains, and
National Parks Act, 1928, for the following purposes of the
General Government :β
(a) A farm to provide occupation and training for mentally-
deficient and delinquent children.
(b) A site and farm for an agricultural high school.
(c) A site for a health camp for physically-defective
children.
SCHEDULE.
All that area in Block I, Waiopohu Survey District, Wellington
Land District, containing by admeasurement 134 acres 3 roods
21 perches, more or less, being Lot 10 on S.O. plan 47/17,
and being portion of the land described in subsection (5) of
section 12 of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal Act,
1928.

Order in Council consenting to the Raising of a Loan of
Β£25,000 by the Christchurch Drainage Board.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington this 11th day of
March, 1930.
Present:
His Excellency The Administrator of the Government
in Council.
WHEREAS the Christchurch Drainage Board (hereinafter
called "the said local authority") is desirous of
raising the sum of twenty-five thousand pounds by a loan
to be known as "Drainage and Sewerage Loan, 1930, No. 1,"
for the purpose of making advances to owners of property to
pay for connecting premises with the sewers of the Board :
And whereas the said local authority has complied with
the provisions of the Local Government Loans Board Act,
1926 (hereinafter called "the said Act"), and it is expedient
that the precedent consent of the Governor-General in Council
under the said Act should be given to the raising of the said
loan on the terms and conditions hereinafter set forth :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Administrator of the
Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the
said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers
and authorities conferred on him by the said Act, and of all
other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, doth
hereby consent to the raising by the said local authority of
the said loan up to the amount of twenty-five thousand
pounds for a term not exceeding seven years, at such rate or
rates of interest as shall not produce to the lenders a rate
exceeding the rate of five pounds fifteen shillings per centum
per annum, subject to the condition that the provisions for
repayment of advances must be so arranged as to ensure
that all repayments must be completed at maturity of the loan,
and the proceeds then applied in redemption of the loan so
that no portion of the loan shall be renewed.

Order in Council consenting to the Raising of a Loan by the
Taranaki Hospital and Charitable Aid Board.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 11th day of
March, 1930.
Present:
His Excellency The Administrator of the Government
in Council.
WHEREAS the Taranaki Hospital and Charitable Aid
Board (hereinafter called "the said local authority")
is desirous of raising by way of bank overdraft the sum of
twenty-five thousand four hundred pounds for the purpose of
erecting buildings and works incidental thereto, and providing
machinery, furniture, fittings, and equipment, and repaying
an existing loan of two thousand pounds :
And whereas the said local authority has complied with the
provisions of the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926
(hereinafter called "the said Act"), and it is expedient that
the precedent consent of the Governor-General in Council
under the said Act should be given to the raising of the said
loan on the terms and conditions hereinafter set forth :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Administrator of the
Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the
said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers
and authorities conferred on him by the said Act, and of all
other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf,
doith hereby consent to the raising by the said local authority
of the said loan by way of bank overdraft up to the amount
of twenty-five thousand four hundred pounds for a term of
six years, at such rate or rates of interest as shall not produce
to the lenders a rate exceeding current bank overdraft rates,
subject to the condition that in the financial year ending
thirty-first March, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-
one, and in every financial year thereafter, the moneys so
borrowed shall be reduced by the sum of not less than four
thousand three hundred pounds.
