THIRD SCHEDULE.
BOUNDARIES OF THE WAIMATUKU SUBDIVISION.
ALL that area in the Southland Land District, bounded towards the north generally by the main road forming the northern boundaries of Sections Nos. 11, 12, 14, and 29 in Block XXIV, Jacobs River Hundred, and the production of that road south-easterly through the Town of Waimatuku and forming the southern boundaries of Section No. 1 of 29, Block XII, Jacobs River Hundred, Section No. 3, Block XII, Jacobs River Hundred, and Sections Nos. 5, 6, and 7, Block XI, to the north-eastern corner of Section No. 12; thence towards the east generally by the eastern boundary of Waimatuku River District, hereinbefore described, to the sea; thence towards the south-west by the sea to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Section No. 3, Block XXIII, Jacobs River Hundred; and thence towards the west generally by the western boundary of the Waimatuku River District hereinbefore described.
BOUNDARIES OF THE MONTE CRISTO SUBDIVISION.
All that area in the Southland Land District bounded on the south by the Waimatuku Subdivision, hereinbefore described, and on the west by the river district boundary to the north-eastern corner of Section 30, Block XI, Jacobs River Hundred; thence along the road forming the northern boundary of the said Section 30, to and across the Waimatuku Stream to the road forming the western boundary of Section 182, Oreti Hundred; thence along that road to the road forming the northern boundary of Section 54, Block XX, New River Hundred; thence easterly along that road to the north-eastern corner of Section 54 aforesaid; thence along the eastern boundary of Section 54 to its south-eastern corner; thence along the northern boundary of Section 43, Block XX, New River Hundred, to its north-eastern corner; thence along the eastern boundary of said Section 43 and that boundary produced to the public road forming the south-western boundary of Section 32, Block XX, New River Hundred; thence along that road and the western and southern boundaries of Section 45, said Block XX, to Middle Creek; thence down that creek to the channel leading to the Waimatuku Stream in Lot 1 on plan 290, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Invercargill; thence along that channel to the Waimatuku Stream, and down the said Waimatuku Stream to the southern boundary of Lot 1 aforesaid; thence easterly along that boundary to the eastern boundary of the Waimatuku River District, and by that boundary to the place of commencement.
BOUNDARIES OF THE DRUMMOND SUBDIVISION.
All that area in the Southland Land District, bounded towards the north-east and east generally by the north-eastern and eastern boundaries of Waimatuku River District, hereinbefore described; towards the south by the Monte Cristo subdivision, hereinbefore described; and towards the west generally by the western boundary of the said Waimatuku River District.
BOUNDARIES OF THE OTAHUTI SUBDIVISION.
All that area in the Southland Land District bounded on the south and west by the Monte Cristo Subdivision, hereinbefore described, and the river district boundary; and on the north and east by the river district boundary.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 3rd day of March, 1930.

Revoking Part of a Proclamation taking additional Land near Otaki for the Purposes of the Wellington-New Plymouth Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section twenty-seven of the Public Works Act, 1928, it is enacted that if at any time after the issue or making of any Proclamation taking land under this Act, and before the payment or award of any compensation in respect to the taking thereof, it is found that the land or any part thereof is not required for the purpose for which it was taken, the Governor-General may, by a subsequent Proclamation gazetted, revoke the former Proclamation, either wholly or so far as he thinks necessary:
And whereas it is found that part of the additional land near Otaki taken for the purposes of the Wellington-New Plymouth Railway by a Proclamation made under the Public Works Act, 1928, dated the twenty-ninth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine (hereinafter termed "the said Proclamation"), and published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 74, of the seventh day of November, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine, page 2761, is not required for the purposes for which it was taken:
Now, therefore, I, Sir Michael Myers, Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers enabling me in this behalf, do hereby revoke so much of the said Proclamation as affects the land described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 30Β·5 perches. Portion of Railway Reserve (part Section 13, Kaingaraki Nos. 2 and 3), Block IX, Waitohu Survey District, Horowhenua County. (S.O. 2502.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 533, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 25th day of February, 1930.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section four of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, Sir Michael Myers, Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the area of Crown land described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby set apart and declared open for disposal by way of sale or lease to discharged soldiers, under special tenures, in the manner provided in the said Act.
