NOTICE OF CHANGE OF NAME.

I, HARRY MURDOCH, heretofore called and known by the name of HARRY MACKAY THURLOW, of Bush Siding, in the County of Southland, and Dominion of New Zealand, Sawmill Hand, hereby give public notice that on the eighth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and thirty, I formally and absolutely renounced, relinquished, and abandoned the use of my said surname of “Thurlow,” and of the Christian name “Mackay,” and then assumed and adopted, and determined thenceforth on all occasions whatsoever to use and subscribe the name of “Harry Murdoch” instead of the said name of “Harry Mackay Thurlow”: And I give further notice that by a deed poll dated the eighth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and thirty, I formally and absolutely renounced and abandoned the said surname of “Thurlow,” and declared that I had assumed and adopted, and intended thenceforth upon all occasions whatsoever to use and subscribe the name of “Harry Murdoch” instead of “Harry Mackay Thurlow,” and so as to be at all times thereafter called, known, and described by the name of “Harry Murdoch” exclusively.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is the intention of the Wanganui County Council to execute a certain public work—to wit, the acquisition of land and erection of a worker’s dwelling in the County of Wanganui—and, for the purpose of such public work to take, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, the land described in the Schedule hereto:

And notice is hereby further given that a copy of the plan showing the land required to be taken for the said public work, with the names of the owner and occupier of such land, is deposited at the office of the Wanganui County Council in Campbell Place in the City of Wanganui, and is there open to inspection by all persons at all reasonable hours:

And notice is hereby further given that all persons affected shall, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice—namely, the 20th day of February, 1930—to the Wanganui County Council at its office aforesaid.
