HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby cancel the reservation as a reserve for public-defence purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District containing by admeasurement 188 acres, more or less, being Runanga Stockade Reserve, proclaimed in New Zealand Gazette, 1894, page 959, situated in Block IX, Runanga Survey District, Taupo County: Bounded towards the north generally by the Waiarua Stream; towards the south-east generally by the Manawaara Stream; towards the south-west by the Runanga Block; towards the north-west generally by the Paraoanui Stream: As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 22/1450/222, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. Consenting to stopping Portion of a Road in Block IV, Invercargill Hundred, Southland County.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the Southland County Council stopping the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road permitted to be stopped: 1 acre 3 roods 20 perches.
Adjoining or passing through part Section 1 of 20.
Situated in Block IV, Invercargill Hundred (Southland R.D.). (S.O. R583.)
In the Southland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 77143, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Consenting under the Agricultural and Pastoral Societies Act, 1908, to the Sale of certain Land granted to and vested in the Auckland Agricultural and Pastoral Association.—(Notice No. Ag. 2872.)

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the Agricultural and Pastoral Societies Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the sale by the Auckland Agricultural and Pastoral Association, a society duly incorporated under the said Act, to the Challenge Phosphate Company, Limited, a company duly incorporated under the Companies Act, 1908, and carrying on business at its registered office, Tasman Building, Anzac Avenue, in the City of Auckland, of that piece of land granted to and vested in the said association and more particularly described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that piece of land containing 37 acres 1 rood 19·6 perches, more or less, being part of the land on deposited plan No. 3981, and being portion of the block situated in the Parish of Manurewa known as Fairburn’s Claim No. 269A, and being the residue of the land comprised in certificate of title, Vol. 281, folio 90, of the register-book at Auckland.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
Ernest William Hodgson,
Cecil Colston Hooper,
Henry Goodwin Kingsland,
George Robertson, and
William Stringer
to be the Wakefield Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Tuesday, the tenth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Rechabite Hall, Wakefield, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

WAKEFIELD DOMAIN.
ALL that area in the Nelson Land District, containing 5 acres 1 rood 36·8 perches, more or less, and being Sections 1 and 2, Block XVI, Wai-iti Survey District; as the same is more particularly delineated on a plan marked L. and S. 1/42, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Also all that area in the Nelson Land District, containing 9 acres 3 roods 11 perches, more or less, and being part Section 30, Wai-iti Hills Original District, in Block XVI, Wai-iti Survey District: Bounded towards the north-east and north-west by public roads, 1406·4 and 700 links respectively, and towards the south-west and south-east by the remaining portion of Section 30, distances of 1400 and 700 links respectively; as the same is more particularly delineated on a plan marked L. and S. 1/42, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
