Authorizing the Laying-off of Streets in the Borough of New Plymouth of Widths of less than 66 ft., but not less than 40 ft., subject to Conditions as to the Building-line.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 5th day of December, 1929.

Present :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby authorize the New Plymouth Borough Council to permit the laying-off of the proposed streets described in the Schedule hereto of widths of less than sixty-six feet but not less than forty feet, subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the said streets within a distance of forty feet from the centre-lines of the said streets, with the exception that on Lots 58 and 59, fronting Turi Street, no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected within a distance of thirty feet from the centre-line of the said street and on Lots 36 and 73, fronting Manaia Street, no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said street, the said lots being shown on the plan mentioned in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

THOSE proposed streets in the Taranaki Land District, Borough of New Plymouth, to be known as Tokomaru Street, Turi Street, Kurahaupo Street, Manaia Street, and Tainui Street, containing by admeasurement 3 roods 32·48 perches, 1 rood 5·84 perches, 1 rood 8·4 perches, 1 rood 1·49 perches, and 2 roods 38·67 perches, respectively, being portions of a subdivision of part of Section 36, Fitzroy District. As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 75780, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

Authorizing the Provision and Dedication of a Road in the One Tree Hill Road District of a Width of less than 66 ft. but not less than 61 ft. 10½ in., subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 5th day of December, 1929.

Present :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the One Tree Hill Road Board on the sixteenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine, viz :—

“That the One Tree Hill Road Board, being the local authority having control of the roads in the One Tree Hill Road District, hereby by resolution authorizes the provision and dedication of a proposed road (to be known as Fern Avenue Extension) within the said district, being portion of Lot 4, part Allotment 12, Section 12, Suburbs of Auckland, at a width of 61 ft. 10½ in.”;

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the proposed road described in the Schedule hereto within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said road.

SCHEDULE.

THAT proposed road in the North Auckland Land District, One Tree Hill Road District, to be known as Fern Avenue Extension containing by admeasurement 13·2 perches, more or less, being portion of Lot 4, part Allotment 12, Section 12, Suburbs of Auckland. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 76622, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

  • Cancelling the Reservation over Reserves in Town of Huiroa, Taranaki Land District.*

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 5th day of December, 1929.

Present :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby cancel the reservation as reserves for municipal purposes over the lands described in the Schedule hereto ; and doth hereby declare that the said lands, being vested in the Crown, are Crown lands available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE.

TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT.

SECTION 8, Block I, Town of Huiroa : Area, 2 roods 6 perches. Also Sections 8 and 19, Block II, Town of Huiroa : Area, 1 acre.

Also Section 12, Block V, Town of Huiroa : Area, 2 roods. Also Section 10, Block VI, Town of Huiroa : Area, 1 acre.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 5th day of December, 1929.

Present :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby cancel the reservation as a reserve for municipal purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto ; and doth hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.
