THE following notice, received from the Mayor, Onehunga Borough Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926.

BOROUGH OF ONEHUNGA.

PURSUANT to section 13 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of that special-rating area of the Borough of Onehunga, known as the “New Area,” which was merged in the borough as from the 1st day of April, 1927, and was formerly part of the One Tree Hill Road District, taken on the 12th day of November, 1929, on the proposal to borrow the sum of £36,400 for drainage and waterworks in the New Area, the number of votes recorded was—

For the proposal .. .. .. 128
Against the proposal .. .. .. 28

I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.
