Appointment of Deputy District Public Trustee.
NOTICE is hereby given that, in pursuance of the power and authority vested in me by section three of the Public Trust Office Amendment Act, 1921–22, I, the Public Trustee of the Dominion of New Zealand, have appointed Frederick Charles Coombe, of the Public Trust Office, Wellington, to be Deputy of the District Public Trustee, Masterton, during the absence of such District Public Trustee from his headquarters, and all previous appointments in this behalf are hereby revoked.
Dated at Wellington, this 2nd day of December, 1929.

HIS Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to approve of the appointments, promotions, resignations, and transfers of the undermentioned officers of the N.Z. Military Forces.
STAFF.
Colonel R. Tracy-Inglis, C.B.E., v.d., M.B., N.Z. Medical Corps, relinquishes the appointment of Director of Medical Services, and is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, General List. Dated 30th November, 1929.
Lieutenant-Colonel J. L. Frazerhurst, v.d., M.D., N.Z. Medical Corps, relinquishes the appointment of Assistant Director of Medical Services, Central Command, dated 30th November, 1929, and is appointed Director of Medical Services with the rank of Colonel, dated 1st December, 1929, vice Colonel R. Tracy-Inglis, C.B.E., v.d., M.B., transferred to the Reserve of Officers.
COMMANDS.
Lieutenant-Colonel C. N. Newman, D.S.O., relinquishes command of 1st Field Brigade, N.Z.A., and is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, Class I (b), R.D. 1. Dated 22nd October, 1929.
Major W. F. Stillwell, M.C., v.d., relinquishes command of the 4th Field Battery, N.Z.A., dated 22nd October, 1929, and is appointed to command the 1st Field Brigade, N.Z.A., dated 23rd October, 1929.
Captain A. A. Currey, M.M., The Regiment of N.Z. Artillery, is appointed to command the 4th Field Battery, N.Z.A. Dated 23rd October, 1929.
THE QUEEN ALEXANDRA’S (WELLINGTON WEST COAST) MOUNTED RIFLES.
Major J. H. Chisholm is posted to the Retired List, with permission to retain his rank and wear the prescribed uniform. Dated 20th November, 1929.
Lieutenant J. E. Stevens, from the N.Z. Air Force, to be Lieutenant. Dated 16th November, 1929.
THE REGIMENT OF N.Z. ARTILLERY.
The notice published in the N.Z. Gazette, No. 46, of 20th June, 1929, relating to the retirement of Lieutenant A. W. Bird, M.M., Reserve of Officers, is cancelled.

Henry William Wotton to be 2nd Lieutenant, and is posted to the 1st C Battalion. Dated 4th November, 1929.
The Hawke’s Bay Regiment.
Lieutenant A. W. Bird, M.M., from the Reserve of Officers, to be Lieutenant, and is posted to the 1st Battalion. Dated 21st November, 1929.
