THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

Lieutenant A. H. L. Sugden, N.Z. Staff Corps, having returned
from a tour of exchange with the British Army in India,
ceases to be seconded, dated 8th October, 1929, and is
appointed Area Officer, Area 11A, Dunedin. Dated 30th
October, 1929.

Lieutenant R. S. Judson, V.C., D.C.M., M.M., N.Z. Staff
Corps, relinquishes the appointment of Area Officer, Area
1A, Auckland, dated 30th October, 1929, and is appointed
Adjutant, 1st Battalion, Taranaki Regiment, and Area
Officer, Area 8A, New Plymouth. Dated 1st November,
1929.

Lieutenant E. Tingey, M.C., N.Z. Staff Corps, relinquishes
the appointment of Weapon Training Officer, Northern
Command, and is appointed Area Officer, Area 1A, Auckland.
Dated 17th October, 1929.

Lieutenant C. E. Weir, Regiment of Royal N.Z. Artillery
relinquishes the appointment of Assistant Area Officer,
Area 5A, Wellington, dated 12th November, 1929, and is
appointed Assistant Adjutant, Southern Artillery Group,
Christchurch. Dated 13th November, 1929.

2nd Lieutenant J. R. Page, N.Z. Staff Corps, having completed
his training at the Royal Military College, Sandhurst, and
his attachment to the 1st Battalion, King’s Own Yorkshire
Light Infantry, returned to New Zealand on 4th November,
1929, and is appointed Assistant Area Officer, Area 5A,
Wellington. Dated 11th November, 1929.

2nd Lieutenant H. G. Wooller, N.Z. Staff Corps, having com-
pleted his training at the Royal Military College, Sandhurst,
and his attachment to the 2nd Battalion The Buffs (East
Kent Regiment), returned to New Zealand on 28th October,
1929, and is attached to Area 5A, Wellington. Dated 1st
November, 1929.

N.Z. STAFF CORPS.

The undermentioned 2nd Lieutenants to be Lieutenants.

2nd Lieutenant B. M. Wilmhurst resigns his commission.

Captain G. D’A. Folkard, M.B.E., 1st Field Battery, is trans-
ferred to the Reserve of Officers, Class I (b), R.D. 1. Dated
16th November, 1929.

2nd Lieutenant E. R. Tremain, 3rd Field Battery, resigns
his commission. Dated 28th August, 1929.

N.Z. CORPS OF SIGNALS.

Central Depot.

Lleon Edgar Downes to be 2nd Lieutenant. Dated 12th
September, 1929.

Southern Depot.

William John Scholefield to be 2nd Lieutenant. Dated 12th
September, 1929.

THE WELLINGTON REGIMENT.

Lieutenant M. Niccol, 2nd C Battalion, is transferred to the
Hawke’s Bay Regiment. Dated 13th November, 1929.

THE WELLINGTON WEST COAST REGIMENT.

Cecil Bertram Travice McClure, M.C., to be Captain, and is
posted to the 3rd C Battalion. Dated 21st October, 1929.

The undermentioned to be 2nd Lieutenants and are posted
to the 1st Battalion. Dated 6th November, 1929 :—

THE HAWKE’S BAY REGIMENT.

Lieutenant M. Niccol, from the Wellington Regiment, to be
Lieutenant, with seniority as from the 3rd July, 1926, and
is posted to the 1st Battalion. Dated 13th November,
1929.

THE OTAGO REGIMENT.

Lieutenant S. T. Hudson, 1st Battalion, is transferred to the
Reserve of Officers, Class I (b), R.D. 11. Dated 16th
November, 1929.

The appointment of 2nd Lieutenant (on probation) N. E. W.
Barclay, 1st C Battalion, is confirmed.

N.Z. AIR FORCE.

The appointment of 2nd Lieutenant (on probation) M. J.
Cameron is confirmed.

N.Z. ARMY SERVICE CORPS.

Northern Depot.

Arthur Warrington Sinclair Littlejohn to be 2nd Lieutenant.
Dated 16th November, 1929.

N.Z. MEDICAL CORPS.

Captain C. F. Pattie, M.D., ceases to be attached to the 15th
Coast Battery, and is transferred to the Reserve of Officers.
Dated 8th November, 1929.

Captain R. C Brewster, M.C., F.R.C.S. Edin., ceases to be
attached to the 1st Battalion, Taranaki Regiment, and
is transferred to the Reserve of Officers. Dated 13th
November, 1929.

RESERVE OF OFFICERS.

Captain J. E. Makgill is posted to the Retired List, with per-
mission to retain his rank and wear the prescribed uniform.

The Nelson-Marlborough Mounted Rifles.

Lieutenant H. Berryman resigns his commission. Dated 12th
November, 1929.

Major A. M. Goulding, M.C., is posted to the Retired List,
with permission to retain his rank and wear the prescribed
