The Township of Pembroke is situated on Lake Wanaka,
199 miles north-west from Dunedin. Unsurpassed as a
tourist and health resort. Post and telegraph, and money-
order offices. The township is situated along the edge of the
lake, and all the sections are close handy to the wharf, post-
office, store, hotel, &c.
Special Condition.—All the sections will be sold subject to
any existing water-races, water-race licenses, and other mining
rights. A water-race belonging to Mr. Barker runs through
Sections 3 and 4, Block XXX, and 4, Block XXXIX, and he
will have the right of access to same at all times.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, this 23rd day of November, 1929.

Notifying Lands in Auckland Land District for Sale by Public Auction for Cash or on Deferred Payments.

IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon
me by section one hundred and thirty-two of the Land
Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint
Wednesday, the eighth day of January, one thousand nine
hundred and thirty, as the time at which the lands
described in the Schedule hereto shall be sold by public
auction for cash or on deferred payments; and I hereby
fix the prices at which the said lands shall be sold as those
mentioned in the said Schedule hereto.
