Financial Instructions and Allowance Regulations for the New Zealand Military Forces amended.—Amendments No. 30.

CHARLES FERGUSSON, Governor-General.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by the Defence Act, 1909, and its amendments, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby amend in the manner and to the extent set forth in the Schedule hereto the Financial Instructions and Allowance Regulations for the New Zealand Military Forces, published in the New Zealand Gazette dated the sixth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five; and I do hereby declare that the amendments hereby made shall take effect as from date of publication thereof in the Gazette.

SCHEDULE.

FINANCIAL INSTRUCTIONS AND ALLOWANCE REGULATIONS FOR THE NEW ZEALAND MILITARY FORCES.

  1. PARAGRAPH 43, as amended by Gazettes dated 15th December, 1927, and 26th July,1928, is hereby further amended by adding the following words at the end of the third line: “Except officers of the N.Z. Permanent Air Force.”

  2. Paragraph 47, line 3: After “paragraph 46” add “and para. 47A.”

  3. After paragraph 47, add a new paragraph as under:—
    “47A. The following shall be the consolidated rates of pay (including all allowances except as prescribed in regulations) for Officers, Warrant Officers, N.C.Os., and Airmen of the N.Z. Permanent Air Force.

  1. Paragraph 44 is hereby renumbered paragraph 47 (b) and is transposed accordingly.

  2. Paragraph 71: Amend table as follows:—
    After “Lieutenant-Colonel” add “or Wing Commander.”
    After “Major,” in lines 4 and 5, add “or Squadron Leader.”
    After “Captain,” in lines 6 and 7, add “or Flight Lieutenant.”
    After “2nd Lieutenant” add “or Flying Officer or Pilot Officer.”

Notifying Lands in the Otago Land District for Sale by Public Auction.

IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section 132 of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Wednesday, the eighth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and thirty, as the time at which the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be sold by public auction for cash; and I hereby fix the prices at which the said lands shall be sold as those mentioned in the said Schedule hereto.
