Crown Land set apart as a Permanent State Forest.

A PROCLAMATION.
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a permanent State forest.
SCHEDULE.
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.—CANTERBURY FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.
Part of State Forest 54.
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 80 acres, more or less, being portion of Run 48, situated in Block V, Waimate Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Towards the south-east and north-east by Reserve 3347 (State Forest No. 54, Gazette, 1898, page 1462); and again towards the south-east and towards the south-west, north-west, and north by part of Run 48. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 179/1, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service, at Wellington, and thereon bordered blue.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 23rd day of November, 1929.

Lands set apart as Provisional State Forests declared to be subject to the Land Act, 1924.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section twenty of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting on the recommendation of the Minister of Lands, do hereby proclaim and declare that the lands described in the Schedule hereto, being portions of provisional State forests set apart by Proclamations dated the twelfth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one, and the twenty-ninth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, respectively, and gazetted on the fifteenth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one, and the eighth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, respectively, are required for settlement purposes; and, in accordance with the provisions of the said Act, such lands shall, from and after the day of the gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional State forests, and shall become subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Westland Land District containing 360 acres, more or less, being parts of Provisional State Forest Reserves 1712 (205 acres) and 1689 (155 acres), situated in Blocks XV and XVI, Okuru Survey District, and comprised in a strip of land ten chains wide along the northern bank of the Okuru River, intercepted between a line bearing due north from the northernmost corner of Section 2488 and the southern boundary of Block XVI, Okuru Survey District, together with a strip of land ten chains wide along the southern bank of the Okuru River extending from the aforesaid southern boundary of Block XVI to the north-western boundary of Run 47, a distance of approximately 110 chains, together with the bed of the Okuru River, intercepted between the two last-mentioned boundaries. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. X/98/47, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged blue.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 23rd day of November, 1929.

APPROXIMATE area of the pieces of road closed: 24 acres 2 roods.
Adjoining Crown land.
Situated in Block XI, Wataroa Survey District.
In the Westland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/1710, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2338, and thereon coloured green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 25th day of November, 1929.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a road; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the ninth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine.
