ALL that area in the Wellington Land District bounded by a line commencing at the northernmost corner of Section 187, Block II, Wairarapa Survey District; thence south-easterly along the north-eastern boundaries of Sections 187 and 188 to the easternmost corner of the last-mentioned section; thence along the north-western and north-eastern boundaries of Section 183, to the road forming the south-eastern boundary of the said Section 183; thence north-easterly along that road to the north-western boundary of Section 370; thence south-westerly along the north-western boundaries of Sections 370, 372, 374, and 376 to the south-western corner of the last-mentioned section; thence along the north-eastern boundaries of Sections 378 and 379 to Murphy’s Road; thence along Murphy’s Road to the north-eastern boundary of Section 452; thence along the north-eastern boundaries of Sections 452 and 453 to the road forming the south-eastern boundary of the last-mentioned section; thence along that road to the north-eastern boundary of Section 486 and by that boundary to the Tauherenikau River; thence down the Tauherenikau River to a point due north of the north-western angle of Maramamau East Block; thence along a right line to and along the western boundary of the said Maramamau East Block to its south-western corner; thence along a right line to the northernmost corner of Section 3, Block XV, Wairarapa Survey District; thence along the north-eastern boundaries of Sections 3 and 4, Block XV aforesaid, to the easternmost corner of the said Section 4; thence north-easterly along the north-western boundary of Te Awaawaroa No. 1 Block to Pukeo Road; thence south-easterly along that road to the western boundary of Ohaeretahi 2A 3 Block; thence along the western boundary of Ohaeretahi 2A 3 and 2A 2 to the north-western corner of the last-mentioned block; thence along the northern boundary of Ohaeretahi 2A 2, 2A 4, 2A 5, 2A 6, 2A 7, and 2A 8 Blocks to the western boundary of Waiotetua 1B Block; thence along that boundary to the north-western corner of the said 1B Block; thence along the northern boundary of Waiotetua 1B and 2A Blocks to the north-eastern corner of the last-mentioned block; thence along the eastern boundaries of Waiotetua 2A and 2C Blocks to the northernmost corner of the land shown on plan 2864, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Wellington; thence along the north-eastern and south-eastern boundaries of that land to the Ruamahanga River; thence across that river and up its left bank to the north-eastern boundary of Section 11, Dyer Settlement; thence south-easterly along that boundary to Lower Valley Road; thence south-westerly along that road to the south-western boundary of Sections 22, Dyer Settlement; thence along the south-western boundary of Section 22 to the Okoura Stream; thence down the Okoura Stream to the north-eastern boundary of Section 99, Block XVI, Wairarapa Survey District; thence along that boundary to the south-eastern corner of the said Section 99; thence along the south-eastern and south-western boundaries of the said Section 99 to a point 1000 links distant from the left bank of the Ruamahanga River; thence south-westerly generally along a line parallel to and distant 1000 links from the said left bank to the eastern boundary of Section 55, as shown on plan A/1100, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Wellington; thence along the eastern and south-eastern boundaries of Sections 55 and 57 on plan A/1100 aforesaid to the southernmost corner of the last-mentioned section; thence by a right line to the Wharekaka Road; thence south-westerly along the Wharekaka Road to the Oruapouanui Stream; thence down that stream to a point in line with the southern boundary of Section 73 (Wai-tapu), Block II, Haurangi Survey District; thence to and along that boundary to its south-western corner; thence along a right line to the easternmost corner of original Section 74, Block II, Haurangi Survey District; thence along the south-eastern boundary of that section to its southernmost corner; thence along the north-eastern and south-eastern boundaries of original Section 88, and the north-eastern and south-eastern boundaries of original Section 31 to the southernmost corner of the last-mentioned section; thence along a right line to the north-eastern corner of original Section 14;

thence along the south-eastern boundaries of original Section 86 and the south-eastern boundaries of original Section 85, Block V, Haurangi Survey District, to its southernmost corner; thence along the north-western boundary of original Section 9, Block V, Haurangi Survey District, to its north-western corner; thence along a right line to the north-eastern corner of the Ferry Reserve; thence along the eastern boundary of the said Ferry Reserve to the sea; thence along the seacoast to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of Section 61, Block VI, Onoke Survey District; thence to and along the south-eastern and north-eastern boundaries of Section 61 aforesaid to the north-western boundary of Section 64, Block VII, Onoke Survey District; thence along the north-western and north-eastern boundaries of said Section 64 to its north-eastern corner; thence to and along the north-western boundaries of Sections 102 and 101, Block VII, to the south-eastern corner of Section 66; thence along the south-western and north-western boundaries of Section 66 aforesaid to its north-western corner; thence along the north western boundary of Section 67, Block I, Haurangi Survey District, to its northernmost corner; thence along the western boundary of Section 57, Block I aforesaid, to the south-western boundary of Section 56, Block I aforesaid; thence along the south-western boundary of Section 56, Block I aforesaid, and that boundary produced to the south-eastern corner of Section 12, Block IV, Onoke Survey District; thence along the eastern boundaries of Sections 12, Block IV, and 14, Block II, Onoke Survey District, to the north-eastern corner of the last-mentioned section; thence along the south-western and north-western boundaries of Section 20, Block II, to its northernmost corner; thence along the south-western boundary of Section 75, Block II aforesaid, to the Western Lake Road; thence north-easterly along that road to the north-western corner of part Section 82, Block VI, Wairarapa Survey District; thence along a right line to the south-western corner of Section 83, Block VI aforesaid; thence along the western and northern boundaries of the said Section 83 to the westernmost corner of Section 92; thence along the north-western boundary of that section to its northernmost corner; thence along a right line to the road forming the north-western boundary of Section 512; thence north-easterly along that road to the south-western boundary of Section 195; thence along that boundary to the westernmost corner of the said Section 195; thence north-easterly along the north-western boundaries of Sections 195, 192, 190, and 187 to the northernmost corner of Section 187, the point of commencement.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS a petition, publicly notified, has been presented to me under section one hundred and thirty-four of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, by the Council of the Borough of Runanga, praying me to alter the boundaries of the Borough of Runanga so as to include therein the piece of land described in the Schedule hereto, being land, in respect of which there are no electors, adjacent to the said borough: Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby proclaim and declare that the boundaries of the said borough are hereby altered so as to include within the limits of the said borough the land described in the said Schedule hereto, being land, in respect of which there are no electors, adjacent to the said borough.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Westland Land District bounded by a line commencing at the south-eastern corner of Section 11, Block II, Cobden Survey District; thence northerly along the western side of the public road forming the eastern boundary of the said Section 11, to a point in line with the north-western boundary of Section 4, Block III, Cobden Survey District; thence by a right line across the said road to the north-western corner of the said Section 4; thence southerly
