to be the Deputy of the Official Assignee for the Gisborne District in the management of the following bankruptcy estates within the jurisdiction of the Supreme Court—to wit, those of T. Stephens, C. L. Ferguson, J. Bullard, and F. Pattulio—to exercise such duties as from the 1st day of February to the 30th day of April, 1929.

Lieutenant T. M. Sim, M.C., is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, Class I (b), R.D. 11. Dated 1st February, 1929.

THE REGIMENT OF N.Z. ARTILLERY.

The undermentioned Lieutenants to be Captains :—

W. D. Corbett, 6th Field Battery. Dated 14th September, 1928.

E. T. Kensington, 16th Pack Battery (How.). Dated 9th November, 1928.

R. B. Hardy, Northern Field Artillery Group (Secondary Schools Section). Dated 19th December, 1928.

Donald John Robertson to be 2nd Lieutenant, 14th Medium Battery, with seniority next below 2nd Lieutenant G. A. Perry. Dated 15th September, 1928.

Oliver Gordon Cox to be 2nd Lieutenant (on probation), 12th Field Battery, and is attached to the Artillery Section, Otago Boys’ High School. Dated 20th December, 1928.

CORPS OF N.Z. ENGINEERS.

Northern Depot.

Captain W. A. Gray, M.C., is granted the temporary rank of Major whilst commanding the Northern Depot, N.Z.E. Dated 4th February, 1929.

Southern Depot.

The seniority of 2nd Lieutenant R. Faville is antedated to 27th May, 1927.

2nd Lieutenant G. E. Page to be Lieutenant. Dated 24th December, 1928.
