Financial Instructions and Allowance Regulations for the New Zealand Military Forces amended.—Amendment No. 29.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by the Defence Act, 1909, and its amendments, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby amend in the manner and to the extent set forth in the Schedule hereto the Financial Instructions and Allowances Regulations for the New Zealand Military Forces published in the New Zealand Gazette dated the sixth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five; and I do hereby declare that the amendment hereby made shall take effect as from the date of publication thereof in the Gazette.
SCHEDULE.
FINANCIAL INSTRUCTIONS AND ALLOWANCE REGULATIONS FOR THE NEW ZEALAND MILITARY FORCES.
AFTER subparagraph (2) of paragraph 47 add :—
“This pay will not be given until the gunner is confirmed in his appointment. Should the gunner qualify for proficiency pay before his probationary period is finished he will draw arrears of proficiency pay from the day he qualified for the same to the date of confirmation of his appointment.”

PURSUANT to the authority vested in me by section sixty-five of the Cook Islands Act, 1915, and by an Order in Council of the twenty-first day of March, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, establishing, inter alia, an Island Council for the Island of Aitutaki, in the Cook Islands, and determining the constitution thereof, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby nominate and appoint
Paku, of the district of Vaipae,
to be a member of the said Island Council of Aitutaki, in lieu of Tutere (deceased), to hold office during my pleasure as from the date hereof.
