DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership existing between WILLIAM JOHN STEED and PERCY MELVILLE WAGENER, heretofore carrying on business at Waiharara, North Auckland, as General Storekeepers, Gum-buyers, Butchers, and Bakers, under the firm name of “Steed and Wagener,” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 22nd day of June, 1929.
The business is being carried on by the said William John Steed, who will meet any liabilities of the Partnership, and to whom all accounts owing to the Partnership are payable.

NOTICE is hereby given that the following resolution was passed in accordance with section 168, subsection (6), of the Companies Act, 1908, in connection with the above company :—
Resolved : “That the company be wound up voluntarily, and that ALEXANDER PAGE, Public Accountant, be and is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purposes of such winding-up.”

RANGITIKEI COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
Loan of £400, Maukuku Road Special-rating Area.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Rangitikei County Council hereby resolves as follows :—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £400, authorized to be raised by the Rangitikei County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of metalling for the first time on the Maukuku Road, from the end of the present metal southwards for a distance of about one mile, and the cost of raising the loan to be paid out of the loan, the said Rangitikei County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of three-eighths of a penny (¾d.) in the pound sterling upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property of the Maukuku Road Special-rating Area, comprising Section 2 (192 acres 1 rood 34 perches) in Block III, Maungakaretu Survey District, Sections 1 (380 acres 2 roods 35 perches) and 2 (378 acres 1 rood 17 perches), Tapuae Settlement, and Raketapauma Block, Subdivision 1f (1,156 acres) in Block VII, Maungakaretu Survey District, and bounded as follows: Commencing at the south-west corner of Section 2, Block III, Maungakaretu Survey District; thence in a northerly direction by its western boundary to its northernmost corner; thence in a south-easterly direction by its north-east boundary to the north-west corner of Subdivision 1f, Raketapauma Block, in Block VII, Maungakaretu Survey District; thence in an easterly direction across road, and again in a south-easterly direction, and again in a south-westerly direction by the north, north-east, and south-east boundaries of the said Subdivision 1f to the eastern boundary of Section 2, Tapuae Settlement, Block VII, Maungakaretu Survey District; thence in a south-westerly and again in a north-westerly direction across road by the south-east and south-west boundaries of the said Section 2 and Section 1, Tapuae Settlement, Block VII, Maungakaretu Survey District, to the western boundary of the said Section 1; thence in a northerly direction by the said western boundary of the said Section 1 to its north-west corner; and thence in an easterly direction by its northern boundary to the south-west corner of Section 2, Block III, Maungakaretu Survey District, being the point of commencement; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of May in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-five years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
We hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of and a correct extract from the minutes of proceedings of the Rangitikei County Council at the meeting of such Council held on the 3rd day of October, 1929.

GLEN EDEN TOWN BOARD.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Glen Eden Town Board resolves as follows :—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £950, authorized to be raised by the Glen Eden Town Board for forming and metalling of Clayburn, Waima, and Brandon Roads, the said local body hereby makes and levies a special rate of 14/64ths of one penny in the pound sterling upon all the rateable property of the Glen Eden Town District, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 30th day of September and the 31st day of March in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

WHANGAREI BOROUGH COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Whangarei Borough Council hereby resolves as follows :—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £49,000, authorized to be raised by the Whangarei Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of extensions and alterations to the sewer system, preparations of comprehensive scheme for the whole borough, and financing connections, the said Whangarei Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one penny (1d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Whangarei, comprising the whole of the Borough of Whangarei, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of June in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-three years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Whangarei Borough Council hereby resolves as follows :—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,724, authorized to be raised by the Whangarei Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of filling in, levelling, and laying out of Central Park, the said Whangarei Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one twenty-fifth of a penny (1/25d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Whangarei, comprising the whole of the Borough of Whangarei, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of June in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-three years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
