Consenting to stopping Road in Block I, Russell Survey District, Bay of Islands County.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 9th day of September, 1929.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the Bay of Islands County Council stopping the road described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road permitted to be stopped: 29·6 perches.
Adjoining or passing through Section 11, Town of Russell.

Situated in Block I, Russell Survey District. (S.O. 22383.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 59168, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Order in Council consenting to the Raising of a Loan of £10,000 by the Waitemata County Council.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 9th day of September, 1929.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the Waitemata County Council (hereinafter called “the said local authority”) proposes to borrow, in accordance with the provisions of section three of the Main Highways Amendment Act, 1928, the sum of ten thousand pounds by a loan to be known as “Auckland-Helensville Main Highway (Waitakere Riding Section) Loan, 1929,” for the purpose of meeting the Council’s proportion of the cost of reconstructing the above highway:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, doth hereby consent to the raising by the said local authority of the sum of ten thousand pounds at such rate or rates of interest as shall not produce to the lenders a rate exceeding the rate of five pounds ten shillings per centum per annum, upon terms of making the said sum, together with interest thereon, repayable by instalments extending over a period of ten years.

The North-eastern Side of Portion of Shetland Street and the North-western Side of Portion of Chapman Street, in the City of Dunedin, exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 9th day of September, 1929.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Dunedin City Council on the fourteenth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine, the portions of streets affected by such resolution being more particularly described in the Schedule hereto, viz. :

“That the Dunedin City Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the City of Dunedin, by resolution declares that the provisions of section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to the undermentioned portions of streets, viz. :

(a) Portion of the north-eastern side of Shetland Street, where it abuts on Allotments 62 and 63 L.T.P. 1028, Township of Anderson, and

(b) Portion of the north-western side of Chapman Street, where it abuts on Allotment 63, L.T.P. 1028, Township of Anderson,

as the said portions of streets are more particularly shown on the plan annexed hereto and are thereon coloured brown and edged with red to their centre-lines ”;

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the north-eastern side of the portion of Shetland Street or fronting the north-western side of the portion of Chapman Street (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-lines of the said portions of streets.

SCHEDULE.

THE north-eastern side of all that portion of street, situated in the Otago Land District, City of Dunedin, known as Shetland Street, fronting Allotment 62 and part Allotment 63, L.T.P. 1028, Township of Anderson.

Also the north-western side of all that portion of street situated in the said land district and city known as Chapman Street, fronting part Allotment 63, L.T.P. 1028, Township of Anderson.

As the said portions of streets are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 75973, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured brown and edged red.

The Northern Side of Portion of Fulford Street, in the Borough of New Plymouth, exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 9th day of September, 1929.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the New Plymouth Borough Council on the fifth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine, viz. :

“That the New Plymouth Borough Council, being the local authority having control of the street hereinafter mentioned, hereby resolves and declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight, subsection one, of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to that portion of the northern side of Fulford Street to which Section 374, New Plymouth, has frontage ”;

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the northern side of the portion of Fulford Street (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of street.

SCHEDULE.

THE northern side of all that portion of street situated in the Taranaki Land District, Borough of New Plymouth, known as Fulford Street, fronting Lots 1 and 2 of a proposed subdivision of Section 374, Town of New Plymouth. As the said portion of street is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 76348, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
