Whakatane County, Auckland Land District, bounded by a line commencing at the south-western corner of Allotment 43 of the Taneatua Township, and running in a north-westerly direction along the western boundaries of the said Allotment 43 and Allotments 42, 41, 40, 39, 38, 37, 36, 35, 34, and 33 of the Taneatua Township; thence easterly along the northern boundary of the said Allotment 33 to its north-eastern corner; thence easterly across the Whakatane-Taneatua Main Highway to the point of intersection of the northern side of Howell’s Road with the eastern side of the Whakatane-Taneatua Main Highway; thence easterly by a line along the northern side of Howell’s Road and a production of that line to its point of intersection with a line drawn parallel to the eastern boundaries of Allotments 11 and 12 of the Taneatua Township, from the north-eastern corner of Lot 3 on deposited plan No. 16212; thence south-easterly along this line to the north-eastern corner of the said Lot 3 on deposited plan 16212; thence southerly along the eastern boundary of the said Lot 3 on deposited plan No. 16212 to its point of intersection with the northern side of Railway Road (also known as Morrison Street); thence south-westerly across Railway Road to the point of intersection of the southern side of Railway Road with the western side of Amokura Road; thence along the western side of Amokura Road to its point of intersection with the northern side of the Taneatua-Waimana Main Highway; thence southerly by a line across the Taneatua-Waimana Main Highway to the north-eastern corner of Lot 7 on deposited plan No. 14288; thence south-easterly along the eastern boundary of the said Lot 7 on deposited plan No. 14288 to its south-eastern corner; thence south-westerly by a line following the southern boundary of the said Lot 7 and Lots 6, 5, 4, 3, and 2 on deposited plan No. 14288, to the point of intersection of the production of this line with the western boundary of Lot 1 on deposited plan 14288; thence northerly along the western boundary of the said Lot 1 to the south-eastern corner of Lot 5 on deposited plan No. 13503; thence by a line along the southern boundaries of Lots 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1, on deposited plan No. 13503 and a production of this line to its point of intersection with the western side of the Taneatua-Ruatoki Road; thence north-westerly along the western side of the Taneatua-Ruatoki Road and the Whakatane-Taneatua Main Highway to the south-east corner of Lot 43 of the Taneatua Township; thence westerly along the southern boundary of the said Lot 43 to its south-western corner, the point of commencement; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of fifteen years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

QUEENSTOWN BOROUGH COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
THAT for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,600, authorized to be raised by the Queenstown Borough Council under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, for Waterworks Extension Loan, 1928 (No. 1), the said Queenstown Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 3½d. in the pound sterling upon the rateable value of all rateable properties of the Borough of Queenstown, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

THE LAWRENCE SLUICING COMPANY, LIMITED.
IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.
NOTICE is hereby given, in pursuance of section 230 of the Companies Act, 1908, that a general meeting of the members of the above company will be held at the offices of Messrs. W. A. Mitson and Co., Public Accountants, 24 Water Street, Dunedin, on Tuesday, the 10th day of September, 1929, at 12 o’clock noon, for the purpose of having an account laid before the meeting showing the manner in which the winding-up of the said company has been conducted and the assets of the said company disposed of, and for hearing any explanation that may be given by the Liquidators, and also of passing an extraordinary resolution disposing of the books, documents, and accounts of the company and of the Liquidators thereof.

The extraordinary resolution to be submitted to such members is as follows:—
“ That the books, documents, and accounts of the company be kept at the office of Mr. Robert C. Moore, Solicitor, Lawrence, and the books, documents, and accounts of the Liquidators be kept at the offices of Messrs. W. A. Mitson and Co., Public Accountants, 24 Water Street, Dunedin, for the period of twelve months from the date of passing this resolution, and thereafter that they be destroyed.”

FAIRWEATHER’S LIMITED.
IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.
IT having been proved to the satisfaction of the company that the company, by reason of its liabilities, cannot continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the company known as FAIRWEATHER’S LIMITED, it is hereby resolved that the said company shall and does hereby go into voluntary liquidation, and for that purpose EDWIN HUBERT MERTGE, of Auckland, Public Accountant, be and is hereby appointed Liquidator of the company at a remuneration to be fixed.

THE WAIPATIKI OIL WELLS, LIMITED.
IN LIQUIDATION.
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and in the matter of THE WAIPATIKI OIL WELLS, LIMITED.
AT an extraordinary general meeting of the members of the above-named company, duly convened and held at No. 28 Rangitikei Street, Palmerston North, on the 15th day of August, 1929, the following extraordinary resolution was duly passed:—
“ That it has been proved to the satisfaction of this meeting that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily.”
And at the same meeting EDWARD GRANT SIM, of Palmerston North, Accountant, was appointed Liquidator for the purposes of such winding-up.
