Extending Prohibition of Alienation of certain Native Land other than Alienation in favour of the Crown.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 19th day of August, 1929.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
ON the recommendation of the Native Land Purchase Board, referred to in section three hundred and sixty-three of the Native Land Act, 1909, and in exercise of the power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section and by section one hundred and eleven of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913 (as amended by section eight of the Native Land Amendment and Native Land Claims Adjustment Act, 1916), His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council thereof, doth hereby extend for a further period of two years the Order in Council dated the third day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight, and gazetted the twenty-seventh day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight, prohibiting all alienation of the Native lands specified in the Schedule hereto, other than alienation in favour of the Crown.

Municipal Corporations Act, 1920.—Revoking Regulations authorizing Investment of Reserve Funds in certain Securities.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 19th day of August, 1929.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon him by section fifty-seven of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act, 1928, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the regulations made under the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, referred to in the Schedule hereto, authorizing investment of reserve funds in certain securities: Provided always that the revocation of the said regulations shall not affect any investment heretofore made or contracted to be made thereunder, and any such funds invested or contracted to be invested on the coming into operation of this Order in Council under the authority of the said regulations may be continued in the same state of investment as long as the Borough Council thinks fit in all respects as if this Order in Council had not been made.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon him by section fifty of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act, 1928, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the regulations made under the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, referred to in the Schedule hereto, authorizing investment of renewal funds in certain securities: Provided always that the revocation of the said regulations shall not affect any investment heretofore made or contracted to be made thereunder, and any such funds invested or contracted to be invested on the coming into operation of this Order in Council under the authority of the said regulations may be continued in the same state of investment so long as the Commissioners acting under section forty-eight of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act, 1928, shall think fit in all respects as if this Order in Council had not been made.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 19th day of August, 1929.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
ON the recommendation of the Native Land Purchase Board, referred to in section three hundred and sixty-three of the Native Land Act, 1909, and in exercise of the power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby prohibit, for the period of one year from the date of this Order in Council, all alienation of the Native land specified in the Schedule hereto other than alienation in favour of the Crown.
