THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the middle-line of a further portion of the South Island Main Trunk Railway (portion of Clarence Section) shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
COMMENCING at a point in the road adjoining Section 167, Block XV, Whernside Survey District, marked 62 miles (which point is identical with the point marked 62 miles on plan P.W.D. 36885, mentioned in a Proclamation published in the New Zealand Gazette of the 7th day of January, 1915), and proceeding thence in a south-westerly direction generally for a distance of approximately 13 miles 66 chains, and passing in, into, through, or over the following lands, &c.—viz., a road and part Sections 6, 1, 36, and 33, Block XV, Whernside Survey District; part Section 59, a road, and Stock Reserve, Block XIX, Whernside Survey District; a road, Block XXII, Whernside Survey District, and Blocks III and VII, Puhipuhi Survey District; part Section 81, Block VII, Puhipuhi Survey District; a road, and Sections 9, 20, 24, and 22, Block XI, Puhipuhi Survey District, and terminating at a point on the north bank of the Clarence River opposite the said Section 22, marked 75 miles 66 chains; including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses: All in the Marlborough Land District. As the same is delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 76180 (2 sheets), deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 16th day of August, 1929.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land in Maungaru Survey District described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto.
