Incorporated Societies Act, 1908.—Declaration by the Assistant Registrar dissolving a Society.

I, LEONARD GRAY TUCK, Assistant Registrar of Incorporated Societies, do hereby declare that, as it has been made to appear to me that the Dunedin United Licensed Carriers’ Association (Incorporated) is no longer carrying on operations, the aforesaid society is hereby dissolved in pursuance of section 28 of the Incorporated Societies Act, 1908.

Notice to Mariners No. 35 of 1929.

SOUTH PACIFIC OCEAN.—TONGA ISLANDS.—TONGATABU.—THE NARROWS.

Rock reported to exist.

Position: Lat. 21° 07′ S., long. 175° 09′ W. (approx.).

Details: A rock with 17 ft. over it at L.W.S. has been discovered in position 5·3 cables 065° from the charted position of the flagstaff on Maka Haa Island in the eastern passage to Tonga Tabu Lagoon. A channel 250 yds. broad through the middle of the narrows has been completely swept, and no dangers other than the above and those already charted have been found to exist.

Beacon destroyed.

Position: Lat. 36° 48′ S., long. 174° 49′ E. (approx.).

Details: The black iron pile beacon with staff and cage surmount, situated 174° 6¾ cables from Rangitoto Beacon, has been destroyed. Pending re-erection of the black iron pile beacon its position will be marked by a small black buoy.

CROWN LANDS NOTICES.

Land in Hawke’s Bay Land District forfeited.

NOTICE is hereby given that the license of the under-mentioned land having been declared forfeited by resolution of the Hawke’s Bay Land Board, the said land has thereby reverted to the Crown under the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.

North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office,

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned section will be offered for sale for cash or on deferred payments by public auction at the North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, at 11 o’clock a.m. on Monday, the 26th August, 1929, under the provisions of the Land Act, 1924, and amendments.

SCHEDULE.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.

Otamatea County.—Naumai Village.

SECTIONS 8 and 9: Area, 12 acres 0 roods 15 perches. Upset price, £850. Deposit on deferred payments, £100.

The balance of the purchase-price will be payable in thirty-four years and a half, with interest at the rate of 5½ per cent. per annum. The payments are at the rate of £3 5s. per £100 half-yearly, principal and interest.

The sections adjoin the Naumai Post-office, and are situated on Naumai-Ruawai Main Road, five miles from Raupo School and seven miles from Ruawai Dairy Factory and sale-yards. Access is by metalled cart-road a quarter of a mile from Naumai Wharf. Good level swamp land, all in grass and rough feed; badly watered. Property subdivided into five paddocks. Improvements consist of 74 chains of fencing (fair condition), 10 chains of draining, and a small shed. The land is suitable for dairying, cropping, or strawberry-growing.

Terms of Sale.

Cash: One-fifth of the purchase-money, together with valuation for improvements, to be paid on the fall of the hammer; balance of purchase-money, together with Crown-grant fee, payable within thirty days thereafter.

Deferred Payments: A cash deposit of £100 and £1 1s. (lease fee), to be paid on the fall of the hammer; balance of purchase-money payable by instalments extending over a period of thirty-four and a half years, and bearing interest at the rate of 5½ per cent. per annum.

Titles will be subject to Part XIII of the Land Act.
