SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Otago Land District containing by admeasurement 5 acres 1 rood 22 perches, more or less, being Section 31, Block III, Lower Wanaka Survey District, and closed road Section 1324R, Town of Pembroke, and bounded as follows: Towards the south-east generally by a public road, 1581·4 links; towards the west by Crown land, 530 links; towards the north generally by Lake Wanaka, 1508·2 links; towards the north-east by Section 4, Block XV, Town of Pembroke, 217·8 links.
Also all that area in the Otago Land District containing by admeasurement 4 acres 3 roods 14 perches, more or less, being closed road Section 1300R, Town of Pembroke, and bounded as follows: Towards the north-west generally by Section 4, Block XV, Town of Pembroke, and Dungannon Street, 1459·6 links and 127·3 links respectively; towards the north-east by Macdougall Street, 113·3 links; towards the south-east, north-east, and north-west by Block XIV, Town of Pembroke, 800 links, 400 links, and 800 links respectively; again towards the north-east by Macdougall Street, 100 links; towards the south-east and north-east by Block XVII, Town of Pembroke, 800 links and 500 links respectively; towards the south-east by Brownston Street, 100 links; towards the south-west and south-east by Block XVI, Town of Pembroke, 500 links and 681·5 links; towards the south-west by Stone Street, 100 links; towards the north-west, south-west, and south-east by Sections 1, 2, and 3, Block XV, Town of Pembroke, 681·5 links, 400 links, and 681·5 links respectively; and again towards the south-west by Stone Street, 100 links.
Also all that area in the Otago Land District containing by admeasurement 6 acres 1 rood 5 perches, more or less, being Section 8, Block XV, Town of Pembroke, and bounded as follows: Towards the north-west generally by Lake Wanaka, 3633·1 links; towards the north-east by Section 7, Block XV, Town of Pembroke, 192·7 links; towards the south-east by Dungannon Street, 3615·1 links; and towards the south-west by Section 4, Block XV, Town of Pembroke, 254·3 links.
Also all that area in the Otago Land District containing by admeasurement 2 acres 2 roods 28 perches, more or less, being Section 5, Block XV, Town of Pembroke, and bounded as follows: Towards the north-east by a public road, 1256·6 links; towards the south-east by Dungannon Street, 345·2 links; towards the south-west by Section 7, Block XV, Town of Pembroke, 235·8 links; and towards the west by Lake Wanaka, 1257·4 links.
Also all that area in the Otago Land District containing by admeasurement 1 acre 2 roods 24 perches, more or less, being Section 6, Block XV, Town of Pembroke, and bounded as follows: Towards the north-east by a public road, 1201 links; towards the south-east by a public road, 101·3 links; towards the south-west by Lake Wanaka, 1239·2 links; and towards the north-west by a public road, 104·5 links.
Also all that area in the Otago Land District containing by admeasurement 46 acres 0 roods 11 perches, more or less, being Section 90, Block IX, Town of Pembroke, and bounded as follows: Towards the north-east generally by a public road, 4292·9 links; towards the south-east by Section 89, 999·2 links; towards the south-west by a public road, 1021·2 links; again towards the south-west by a public road, 3925·1 links; and towards the north-west by a public road, 1000 links; and excepting from the above-described area a reservoir site, a deduction for which has been made from the area.
Also all that area in the Otago Land District containing by admeasurement 13 acres 0 roods 12 perches, more or less, being Section 91, Block IX, Town of Pembroke, and bounded as follows: Towards the east generally by a public road, 2153·7 links; towards the south-west by a public road, 1586·4 links; and towards the north-west by a public road, 1439·1 links.
Also all that area in the Otago Land District containing by admeasurement 83 acres 2 roods 8 perches, more or less, being Sections 3 and 4, Block XLIX, Town of Pembroke, and bounded as follows: Towards the north-east by a public road, 2047·7 links; towards the south-east by a public road, 5389·4 links and 108·9 links; towards the south-west by a public road, 2057 links; towards the west by a public road, 219·4 links; towards the north and north-west by Sections 1 and 2, 1480 links; and towards the north-west by Stratford Terrace, 1555·3 links and 4442·5 links, and excepting from the above-described area two intersecting public roads, each 100 links wide, a deduction for which has been made from the area.
Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less, as the several parcels of land are more particularly shown on the plan marked L. and S. 1/173A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Notifying Land in the Canterbury Land District for Sale by Public Auction.

IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Tuesday, the twentieth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine, as the time at which the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be sold by public auction for cash; and I hereby fix the price at which the said land shall be sold as that mentioned in the said Schedule hereto.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.—FIRST-CLASS LAND.
Akaroa County.—Akaroa Survey District.
RESERVE 3236, Block VII: Area, 5 acres 0 roods 17 perches. Upset price, £30.
High rocky tussock-covered range. Altitude, 2,000 ft. Suitable for grazing only. Only improvements comprise fencing (belonging to Crown) about 20 chains along road-line and south boundary. Unfenced between adjoining owners.

IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section one hundred and thirty-two of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Wednesday, the twenty-first day of August, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine, as the time at which the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be sold by public auction, for cash or on deferred payments; and I do hereby fix the price at which the said land shall be sold as that mentioned in the said Schedule hereto.

Upper Hutt Borough.—Mawaihakona Township.
SECTION 12: Area, 2 roods 11 perches. Upset price, £210. This section is situated at the corner of Tawai and Main Hutt Roads about two miles from Upper Hutt and a quarter of a mile from Trentham Railway-station. A good building-site.

IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section one hundred and thirty-two of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Monday, the twenty-sixth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine, as the time at which the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be sold by public auction, for cash or on deferred payments; and I do hereby fix the price at which the said land shall be sold as that mentioned in the said Schedule hereto.

Otamatea County.—Naumai Village.
SECTIONS 8 and 9: Area, 12 acres 0 roods 15 perches. Upset price, £850. Deposit on deferred payments, £100.
The balance of the purchase price will be payable in 34½ years, with interest at the rate of 5½ per cent. per annum. The payments are at the rate of £3 5s. per £100 half-yearly, principal and interest.
The sections adjoin the Naumai Post-office and are situated on Naumai-Ruawai Main Road, five miles from Raupo School and seven miles from Ruawai Dairy Factory and saleyards. Access is by metalled cart-road a quarter of a mile from Naumai Wharf. Good level swamp land, all in
