The Eastern Side of Portion of Hammond Street, in the Town District of Bulls, exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 15th day of July, 1929.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in any-wise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Bulls Town Board on the thirteenth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine, viz. :—

“ The Bulls Town Board, being the local authority having control of the streets in the Town District of Bulls, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to that portion of street known as Hammond Street, adjoining Lots 31, 32, 33, and 34, Block C, on a plan of the Township of Bulls, being part of Block III of the Rangitikei District ” ;

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the eastern side of the portion of Hammond Street (described in the Schedule hereto), within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of street.


SCHEDULE.

THE eastern side of all that portion of street, situated in the Wellington Land District, Bulls Town District, known as Hammond Street, fronting Lots 31, 32, 33, and 34, Block C, Town of Bulls, Block III, Rangitikei District. As the said portion of street is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 75727, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

The Western Side of Portion of an Unnamed Road in the County of Tuapeka, exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 15th day of July, 1929.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in any-wise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Tuapeka County Council on the twelfth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine, the portion of road affected by such resolution being more particularly described in the Schedule hereto, viz. :—

“ That on the application of Murdoch MacDonald, Farmer, Roxburgh, the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight, subsection one, of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to the road-line on the east of Section 21, Block III, Teviot District ” ;

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the western side of the portion of road (described in the Schedule hereto), within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of road.


SCHEDULE.

THE western side of all that portion of an unnamed road, situated in the Otago Land District, County of Tuapeka, fronting Section 21, Block III, Teviot District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 75779, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in any-wise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Auckland City Council on the twenty-fourth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine, the portions of street affected by such resolution being more particularly described in the Schedule hereto, viz. :—

“ That the Auckland City Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the City of Auckland, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to that portion of street known as Corunna Avenue, adjoining portion of Lot 2 of Allotment 13 of Section 2, Suburbs of Auckland : ”

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the portions of Corunna Avenue (described in the Schedule hereto), within a distance of twenty-five feet from the centre-line of the said portions of street.


SCHEDULE.

THE south-western side of all that street situated in the North Auckland Land District, City of Auckland, known as Corunna Avenue, fronting part Allotment 13 of Section 2, Suburbs of Auckland.

Also the north-eastern side of portion of the said street fronting part Allotment 13 of Section 2, Suburbs of Auckland.

As the said portions of street are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 74655, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Lands temporarily reserved in the Otago Land District for Recreation Purposes.


CHARLES FERGUSSON, Governor-General.

WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-fifty-ninth section of the Land Act, 1924, it is enacted that the Governor-General may from time to time set apart temporarily as reserves, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned :

Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the lands in the Otago Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, for recreation purposes.
