Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Brydone Domain.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 15th day of July, 1929.

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

John McKay Archibald,
William Joseph Cooney,
James Drysdale,
Robert Parker, and
George Stuart

to be the Brydone Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Monday, the second day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine, at eight o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the Coronation Hall, Brydone, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

BRYDONE DOMAIN.-SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT.

SECTION 152E, Edendale Settlement (Brydone Village), Block X, Lindhurst Hundred : Area, 4 acres 3 roods.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

Henry Albert Belk,
Frederick Christoph Jurgens,
William Prime, and
Wilson Winiata

to be the Torere Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Wednesday, the fourteenth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine, at eight o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the Torere School, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.

TORERE DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 11 acres 1 rood 19 perches, more or less, being Sections Nos. 43, 44, and 45, Torere Village. Bounded towards the north-east and north-west generally by Sections Nos. 21, 20, 19, 18, 17, 16, 15, 14, by the abutment of North Street, by North Street, by Torere Road, by the crossing of that road, and by Sections Nos. 41 and 42; and towards the south-east and south-west generally by Torere Road, by the crossing of that road, again by that road, by Section No. 44A, by Camp Creek, and by a road reserve along the bank of the Hautapu River : save and except that portion of the Torere Road which is included in the above-described area. As the same is delineated on a plan marked L. and S. 1/514, deposited at the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Extending Prohibition of Alienation of certain Native Land other than Alienation in favour of the Crown.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 15th day of July, 1929.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.

ON the recommendation of the Native Land Purchase Board, referred to in section three hundred and sixty-three of the Native Land Act, 1909, and in exercise of the power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section, and by section one hundred and eleven of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913 (as amended by section eight of the Native Land Amendment and Native Land Claims Adjustment Act, 1916), His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council thereof, doth hereby extend for a further period of eighteen months the Order in Council dated the sixth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight, and gazetted the sixteenth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight, but only in so far as it affects the Native land specified in the Schedule hereto, prohibiting all alienation of the land other than alienation in favour of the Crown.
