At the Government House at Wellington, this 15th day of July, 1929.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby authorize the Palmerston North Borough Council to permit the laying-off of the proposed street, described in the Schedule hereto, of a width of less than sixty-six feet but not less than fifty feet, subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the said street within a distance of thirty-five feet from the centre-line of the said street.

THAT proposed street off Featherstone Street, in the Wellington Land District, Borough of Palmerston North, being portion of Lot 22 of Sections 285 and 286, Town of Palmerston North. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 75458, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby authorize the Petone Borough Council to permit the laying-off of the proposed street, described in the Schedule hereto, of a width of less than sixty-six feet but not less than forty feet.

THAT proposed street, being an extension of Campbell Terrace, in the Wellington Land District, Borough of Petone, and being part Section 5, Hutt District, Block XIII, Belmont Survey District. HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby cancel the reservation as a reserve for purposes of the General Government over the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District containing by admeasurement 30·3 perches, more or less, and being part of Reserve Number 1643, situated in the Borough of Ashburton and bounded as follows: Towards the north-west by East Street, 189·4 links; towards the north-east by Wills Street, 100 links; towards the south-east by Section 510 of the Borough of Ashburton, 189·4 links; and again towards the south-west by other part of Reserve Number 1643, 100 links. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/3/365, deposited in Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him by the Dangerous Drugs Act, 1927, and of all other powers enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby make the following regulations in amendment of and in addition to the Dangerous Drugs Regulations, 1928, made under the said Act on the twenty-fourth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight, and published in the Gazette on the twenty-seventh day of the same month at page 2873.

REGULATIONS.

THESE regulations may be cited as “The Dangerous Drugs Amendment Regulations, 1929.”

These regulations shall be read together with and deemed to form part of the Dangerous Drugs Regulations, 1928 (hereinafter referred to as “the principal regulations”).
