Directing the Sale of Land under the Public Works Act, 1928, in Block VIII, Patetere South Survey District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 8th day of July, 1929.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby direct the sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required for the public work for which it was taken.


SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land directed to be sold: 1 acre.

Being portion of Tokoroa No. 1 Block.

Situated in Block VIII, Patetere South Survey District. (S.O. 20464.)

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 46372, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Members appointed to the Owhango Public Hall and Library Board.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 8th day of July, 1929.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by an Order in Council dated the twenty-third day of November, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six, and published in the Gazette of the twenty-fifth day of that month, the control of Section 17, Block I, Town of Owhango, Wellington Land District, a reserve for a site for a public hall and library, was vested in certain persons therein named, who were by the said Order in Council constituted a special Board, by the name of the Owhango Public Hall and Library Board, in pursuance of section two of the Public Reserves and Domains Amendment Act, 1914:

And whereas it is desirable that John Excell and Thomas Russell Hill, both of Owhango, should be appointed members of the said Board, in place of Alexander Watson and Thomas Harvey, who have resigned:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him by section seventeen of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby appoint the said

John Excell, and
Thomas Russell Hill

to be members of the Owhango Public Hall and Library Board constituted by the Order in Council dated the twenty-third day of November, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six, hereinbefore referred to, in place of the said Alexander Watson and Thomas Harvey, who have resigned.

Recreation Reserve in North Auckland Land District brought under Part II of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 8th day of July, 1929.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the thirty-fourth section of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserve for recreation in the North Auckland Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of, and declared to be subject to, the provisions of Part II of the said Act; and such reserve shall hereafter be known as the Parakao Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain.


SCHEDULE.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—PARAKAO DOMAIN.

SECTIONS 15, 20, and 21, Block X, Mangakahia Survey District: Area, 10 acres 1 rood 19 perches.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the thirty-fourth section of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserve for recreation in the North Auckland Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act; and such reserve shall hereafter form part of the Mount Richmond Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain by the Mount Richmond Domain Board.


SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, Block VI, Otahuhu Survey District, being part of Allotment 61 of Section 12, Suburbs of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 3 acres 3 roods 27·1 perches, more or less, and bounded as follows: Commencing at the westernmost corner of Allotment 60 of Section 12, Suburbs of Auckland; towards the west generally by the Great South Road, 40·65 links, to the southernmost corner of other part of Allotment 61 aforesaid containing 2 acres 3 roods 5·8 perches; thence towards the north-west and south-west generally by the last-mentioned part of Allotment 61, 672·17 links, 349·39 links, and 397·53 links, to the south-eastern boundary of Lot 11 of Allotment 3 of Hamlin’s Grant; thence towards the north-west by the said Lot 11, 235·48 links, to the north-western boundary of Allotment 60 of Section 12, Suburbs of Auckland; thence towards the north-east, south-east, and south generally by the aforementioned Allotment 60, 745 links, 227·54 links, 128·02 links, 790·26 links, and 362·55 links, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/503A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (North Auckland plan 24799, blue.)
