Changing the Purpose of Portion of a Reserve in Block III, Waitohi Survey District, Canterbury Land District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 8th day of July, 1929.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms portion of a reserve duly set apart for a Government depot:

And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the reservation over such land shall be changed to a site for buildings of the Hurunui Rabbit Board:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the purpose of that portion of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from a reserve for a Government depot to a site for buildings of the Hurunui Rabbit Board.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District containing by admeasurement 9 acres 3 roods 28 perches, and being part Reserve Number 286, situated in Block III, Waitohi Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the north-west and north-east by other part of Reserve Number 286, 1607 and 614 links respectively; towards the south-east by Reserve Number 2005, 1607Β·2 links; and again towards the south-west by a public road, 621 links. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/1/453, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Changing the Purpose of a Reserve in the Town of Opunake, Taranaki Land District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 8th day of July, 1929.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve duly set apart for a site for a drill-shed:

And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the reservation over such land shall be changed to a reserve for municipal purposes:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the purpose of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from a reserve for a site for a drill-shed to a reserve for municipal purposes.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Taranaki Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 rood, more or less, being Section 9, Block XXXVIII, Town of Opunake: Bounded towards the north-east by King Street, 126 links; towards the south-east by Section 11, Block XXXVIII aforesaid, 200 links; towards the south-west by Lots 1 and 2 (D.P. 4697), being parts of Section 10, and other part of said Section 10, Block XXXVIII aforesaid, 126 links; and towards the north-west by Section 7, Block XXXVIII aforesaid, 200 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/11/47, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Appointment of Matata Domain Board revoked.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 8th day of July, 1929.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.

WHEREAS by an Order in Council dated the twenty-fifth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-three, and published in the Gazette of the twenty-eighth day of that month, a Domain Board was appointed to have control of the Matata Domain therein described:

And whereas it appears expedient to revoke the said Order in Council:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority enabling him in this behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the aforesaid Order in Council dated the twenty-fifth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-three.

Declaring Portion of Road in Block X, Tangitu Survey District, to be a Government Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 8th day of July, 1929.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a Government road.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road declared to be a Government road: 3 acres 1 rood 24 perches.

Adjoining or passing through Section 8.

Situated in Block X, Tangitu Survey District.

In the Taranaki Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 74461, deposited in the Office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Declaring a Road in Block VIII, Waihou Survey District, to be a Government Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 8th day of July, 1929.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a Government road.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road declared to be a Government road: 2 roods 32 perches.

Adjoining or passing through part Lot 3, D.P. 15245 (part of grant to L. A. McCaskill).
