Section 17, Block X: Area, 724 acres. Capital value, £360. Renewable lease: Half-yearly rent, £7 4s.
Weighted with £116, value of improvements comprising felling and grassing, payable in cash.
Property, which is a rough-grazing proposition, is situated six miles from Waikino Railway-station by formed and metalled cart-road and one mile from Waitekauri School and post-office. Approximately 100 acres has been felled and grassed, now partly reverted to fern and scrub, approximately 150 acres in fern and manuka, containing chiefly steep slopes leading down to the Grace Darling Stream. The remainder of the section, approximately 470 acres, consists of easy to steep slopes and sharp ridges, clothed with virgin bush of a light to heavy nature, comprising tawa, rata, rimu, and tawhero, none of which is millable. Clay soil on rock formation, fairly well watered by small streams. The general aspect of the section is easterly. Blackberry in evidence.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as closed the road in Invercargill Hundred, described in the Schedule hereto.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 2 acres 0 roods 4 perches.
Adjoining Section 1 of 24 and closed road, Block IX, Invercargill Hundred.
In the Southland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/1676, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2320, and thereon coloured green.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the middle-line of the road desired to be constructed over Blocks III, IV, and VII, Waiwera Survey District, shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
COMMENCING at a point on the south approach of the Waiwera River Bridge, marked 0 m. 0 chs., and proceeding thence in a southerly direction generally for a distance of about four miles, and passing in, into, through, or over the following lands, &c.—viz.: Lot 41, D.P. 4653, being portion of Allotment 110, Parish of Waiwera; parts of Allotments 110 and 110A, D.P. 7531 and D.P. 7552, Parish of Waiwera; Lot 2 on D.P. 8481, being portion of Allotments 110, 110A, and 224, Parish of Waiwera; part Allotment 110A on D.P. 7552, Block III, Waiwera Survey District; Allotment 15, Blocks III and IV, Waiwera Survey District; parts Allotment 253, part Allotment 27, D.P. 7096, Block III, Waiwera Survey District; part Allotment 254, Blocks III and VII, Waiwera Survey District; Allotment 282 (Reserve), parts Allotment 217, Parish of Waiwera; Lots 150, 28, and 27, D.P. 12794, being portion Allotment 23, Parish of Waiwera; Lot 1, D.P. 14938, being portion of Allotment 23, Parish of Waiwera; and Lot 2, D.P. 14938, being portion of Allotment 20, Parish of Waiwera, Block VII, Waiwera Survey District; and terminating at a point marked 4 miles 0 chs. in the said Lot 2 D.P. 14938, including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses; all in the North Auckland Land District. IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the middle-line of a road desired to be constructed over Blocks XI, XII, and XV, Omapere Survey District, shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto.

COMMENCING at a point on the Okaihau-Ohaeawai Road marked 0 m. 43 chs., between the north-western corner of Tangatapu Block No. 1B and the north-eastern corner of Section 32s, Remuera Settlement, Block XII, Omapere Survey District, and proceeding thence in a southerly direction generally for a distance of 4 miles 29 chains, and passing in, into, through, or over the following lands, &c.—viz., the existing public road forming the western boundary of the said Tangatapu Block No. 1B and of Sections 39s, 2s, and 7s, Remuera Settlement; the said Section 7s and Sections 10s and 13s, Remuera Settlement, Block XII, Omapere Survey District; Sections 18s and 33s, Remuera Settlement, Block XI, Omapere Survey District; part Taraire Block No. 2B, Section 2, Blocks XI and XV, Omapere Survey District; Taraire Block No. 2C No. 3; part Te Pua Block on D.P. 10354; Section 5s, Te Pua Settlement, Block XV, Omapere Survey District; and terminating at a point marked 4 m. 72 ch. on the existing public road forming the western boundary of Taraire Block No. 2s and the eastern boundary of Taraire Block No. 2T, Block XV, Omapere Survey District, including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses: all in the North Auckland Land District.
