A PROCLAMATION.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a permanent State forest.

SCHEDULE.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—ROTORUA FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.

Part State Forest No. 82 (Kaingaroa Plantation Extension).

ALL that area containing by admeasurement 44 acres, more or less, being Oruatewehi No. 2, situate in Blocks VIII and XII, Kaingaroa Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Towards the north-east and south-east by Oruatewehi No. 1 (State Forest No. 82, Gazette, 1927, page 3607); towards the south-west and north-west by State Forest No. 78 (Gazette, 1927, page 460): As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 47/21, deposited in the Head Office, State Forest Service, Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 22nd day of January, 1929.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—ROTORUA FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.

Part Permanent State Forest No. 3.

ALL that area, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 38·4 perches, more or less, being three portions of closed road, 6·5 perches, 1 rood 10·2 perches, and 21·7 perches, respectively (Gazette, 1928, page, 2868), situate in Block IV, Patetere North Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan 38/28, deposited in the Head Office, State Forest Service, Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 22nd day of January, 1929.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section twenty of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting on the recommendation of the Minister of Lands, do hereby proclaim and declare that the lands described in the Schedule hereto, being parts of Provisional State Forest Reserve No. 91, set apart by Proclamation dated the sixteenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, and gazetted on the twenty-fifth day of that month, are required for settlement purposes; and, in accordance with the provisions of the said Act, such lands shall, from and after the day of the gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional State forest, and shall become subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE.

ALL those areas in the Nelson Land District containing 1 acre 8 acres 0 roods 23 perches, 1 acre 0 roods 31 perches, and 11 acres 3 roods, situated in Blocks II and III, Lewis Survey District, and being parts of Provisional State Forest No. 91. As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. X/97/22, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 29th day of January, 1929.

Part State Forest No. 84 (Part Waiotapu Plantation).

Total Area: 7,108 acres 2 roods.

ALL that area, containing by admeasurement 6,663 acres 2 roods 5 perches, situated in Blocks III, IV, VII, VIII, Paeroa Survey District, and Block V, Kaingaroa Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Towards the north-east by Rotomahana-Parekarangi, Sections 5B No. 5A, 5B No. 5B, 5B No. 4B, 5B No. 1, and State Forest No. 1 (Gazette, 1911, page 3567); towards the south generally by the Rotorua–Galatea Road; towards the south-east by State Forest No. 1 (Gazette, 1926, page 1918); again towards the south by State Forest No. 1 (Gazette, 1922, page 2717), Sections 27S and 26S, Reporoa Settlement; towards the west generally by a public road, State Forest (Section 6, Reserves and other Lands Disposal Act, 1926), the Blue Lake, the Waiotapu Scenic Reserve (Gazette, 1908, page 893), the Waiotapu Stream, a public road, and the Waiotapu Township; again towards the north-east generally by the Rotorua–Galatea Road, State Forest (Section 5, Reserves and other Lands Disposal Act, 1926); again by the Rotorua–Galatea Road; towards the north-west by the last-mentioned State Forest.

Also all that area containing by admeasurement 444 acres 3 roods 35 perches, more or less, situated in Blocks III and IV, Paeroa Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Towards the south-east by Rotomahana-Parekarangi, Section 5B No. 5A; towards the south-west by State Forest (Section 5, Reserves and other Lands Disposal Act, 1926); towards the north generally by Section 8, Block XV, Tara-wera Survey District, the Pou-tu-roa Road, and again by the aforementioned Section 8. Save and except all intersecting public roads, and 1 acre of State Forest (Section 7, Reserves and other Lands Disposal Act, 1926).

As the same are more particularly delineated on plan number 46/12, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 22nd day of January, 1929.
