Captain J. L. Findlay, M.C., N.Z. Permanent Air Force,
relinquishes the appointment of Officer Commanding, N.Z.
Air Force Depot, Wigram Aerodrome, Sockburn, dated
20th May, 1929, and proceeded to England on 25th May,
1929, for attachment to the Air Ministry for a period of
twelve months.
Captain M. W. Buckley, N.Z. Permanent Air Force, re-
linquishes the appointment of Flying Instructor, Wigram
Aerodrome, dated 20th May, and is appointed Officer
Commanding, N.Z. Air Force Depot, Wigram Aerodrome,
Sockburn. Dated 21st May, 1929.
Captain W. R. Burge, M.C., N.Z. Staff Corps, relinquishes
the appointment of Area Officer, Area 5A, Wellington,
dated 17th April, 1929, and is seconded to the N.Z. Army
Ordnance Corps with his original rank and seniority, and
appointed Assistant Chief Ordnance Officer, Trentham.

Hon. Lieutenant H. A. Wilson, D.C.M., is posted to the
Retired List with the rank of Hon. Captain, with per-

Colonel J. N. McCarroll, C.M.G., D.S.O., v.d., relinquishes
command of the 1st N.Z. Mounted Rifles Brigade, and is

Lieutenant-Colonel M. Aldred, the Auckland Mounted Rifles,
relinquishes command of the regiment, dated 31st May,

Major W. C. H. Stevens, the Auckland Mounted Rifles, is
appointed to command the regiment, and is granted the

Lieutenant-Colonel L. C. Chaytor, M.C., v.d., the Nelson-
Marlborough Mounted Rifles, relinquishes command of the
regiment, and is transferred to the Reserve of Officers,
Class I (b), R.D. 9. Dated 31st May, 1929.
Major G. N. Taylor, v.d., the Nelson-Marlborough Mounted
Rifles, is appointed to command the regiment. Dated 1st

Colonel A. B. Charters, C.M.G., D.S.O., v.d., A.D.C., re-
linquishes command of the Ist N.Z. Infantry Brigade, and
is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, Class I (a). Dated

Lieutenant-Colonel S. J. E. Closey, M.C., the Waikato
Regiment, relinquishes command of the 1st Battalion,

Major R. D. McFarland, M.C., the Waikato Regiment, is
