Land taken for Street Purposes and in connection with Street-widening at Thorndon Quay, in the City of Wellington.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for street purposes, and that the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby taken in connection with street-widening, and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Wellington, as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the eleventh day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as closed the portions of roads in Thames and Waihou Survey Districts described in the Schedule hereto.

Declaring Land in the Taranaki Land District to be subject to the Land for Settlements Act, 1925.
CHARLES FERGUSSON, Governor-General.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section one hundred and five of the Land for Settlements Act, 1925, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare that the area of Crown land described in the Schedule hereto shall be subject to the provisions of the Land for Settlements Act, 1925, and shall hereafter form part of the Katikara Settlement.
SCHEDULE.
TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Taranaki Land District, Taranaki County, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 0 roods 25 perches, more or less, being Section 130, Okato District, Block II, Cape Survey District: As the same is more particularly delineated on plan marked L. and S. 9/2122, and deposited at the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, Wellington, and thereon edged red.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 21st day of June, 1929.

Notice of Intention to issue an Order in Council revoking the Reservation over Portion of the Ruawai Domain, North Auckland Land District.
CHARLES FERGUSSON, Governor-General.
WHEREAS by section forty-one of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), it is provided that the Governor-General may from time to time by Order in Council, but subject to compliance with the requirements of subsection two of section seven of the said Act, declare that the land comprised in a public domain or part thereof shall cease to be subject to Part II of the said Act; and, further, may declare either that such land shall be a public reserve for the purposes of Part I of the said Act, or Crown land available for disposal by way of sale for cash under the Land Act, 1924:
And whereas the land described in the Schedule hereto forms portion of the Ruawai Domain but is not required for domain purposes, and it is expedient to revoke the reservation over the said land:
Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby give notice, pursuant to subsection two of section seven of the said Act, that it is my intention to issue an Order in Council under the provisions of section forty-one of the said Act declaring that the portion of the Ruawai Domain described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to Part II of the said Act, and shall be deemed to be Crown land available for disposal by way of sale for cash under the Land Act, 1924.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—PART RUAWAI DOMAIN.
SECTION 14, Block II, Village of Mapau: Area, 5 acres 2 roods, more or less.
