In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and in the matter
of the company known as THE EAST COAST CO-OPERATIVE
FREEZING COMPANY, LIMITED. 1922/48.
P URSUANT to the provisions of the Companies Act,
1908, and an order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand (Northern District) dated 9th April, 1929, I, Harold
Beanland Walton, Assistant Registrar of Companies at Auckland, hereby give notice of the said order, a copy whereof
is set forth hereunder.

UPON reading the petition of the Bank of New Zealand, and
the affidavit of James Sheridan Columb, of Whakatane, Bank
Officer, sworn and filed in support thereof, it is ordered that
the name of the East Coast Co-operative Freezing Company,
Limited, be restored to the Register of Companies in New
Zealand, and that a copy of this order be advertised by the
Assistant Registrar of Companies, at Auckland, in his official
name in the New Zealand Gazette, but that costs thereof be
borne by the Bank of New Zealand.

IN LIQUIDATION.
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and in the
matter of C. G. LAURIE, LIMITED (in Liquidation).
NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of shareholders
held in the company’s registered office at Auckland
on Friday, 12th April, 1929, the following resolution was
passed:—
“That it is proved to the satisfaction of the company
that it cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business,
and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and that Mr.
ROBERT E. ALPE, of Auckland, Company Manager, be and
is hereby appointed to act as Liquidator.”
All claims against the above-named company must be
made on or before 31st May, 1929, otherwise they may be
excluded from any distribution of the assets.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

To the Warden of the Otago Mining District at Cromwell.
P URSUANT to the Mining Act, 1926, the undersigned,
the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the
County of Lake, a County Corporation having its office at
Queenstown, hereby applies for a license for a water-race, as
specified in the Schedule hereto, the course whereof has been
duly marked out for the purpose.
Precise time of marking out privilege applied for : 11 a.m.,
19/4/29.

SCHEDULE.
Locality of the race, and its starting and terminal points:
Commencing at a point in the most northerly tributary of
Pembroke Creek in the freehold land of John Faulks, there
lifting two heads; running in a south-westerly direction for
a distance of two chains on to the next tributary, there
lifting half a head ; thence in the same direction for a distance
of three chains through the land of the said John Faulks
and a road line on to the next tributary, there lifting two
heads; thence in the same direction through the freehold
land of the Presbyterian Church for a distance of three chains
on to the main stream, there lifting one and a half heads;
thence in a northerly direction for a distance of one chain
on to another road line, and there terminating.
Length and intended course of race: 9 chains; south-
westerly and northerly.
Points of intake: Four, as above.
Estimated time and cost of construction: One month; £50.
Mean depth and breadth : 1 ft. by 2 ft. and 2 ft. by 3 ft.
and pipe-line.
Number of heads to be diverted: Six heads.
Purpose for which water is to be used: Town supply of
Pembroke.
Proposed term of license: Twenty-one years.

In the matter of a Private Bill intended to be brought
into the General Assembly of New Zealand, to be
intituled “The Christ’s College (Canterbury) Act, 1929,”
for the purpose of correcting an error which appears in
Section 2 of the “Christ’s College (Canterbury) Act,
1928.”
NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to the provisions of
the Standing Orders of the General Assembly of New
Zealand relating to Private Bills, that application will be
made to the General Assembly in Parliament assembled at
its next session on behalf of Christ’s College, Canterbury,
for leave to introduce a Private Bill to be called “The Christ’s
College (Canterbury) Act, 1929.”
The object of the said proposed Bill is to correct an error
in section 2 of “The Christ’s College (Canterbury) Act, 1928,”
by deleting the word “eight” in the last line thereof and
substituting the word “six.”
A copy of the proposed Bill will be deposited at the
Examiner’s office, Wellington, on the 31st day of May, 1929.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore
subsisting between ERLE MOLYNEUX BISHOP and
SIDNEY SMITH, both of Balclutha, carrying on business at
Balclutha aforesaid and elsewhere as Wool and Skin Merchants, under the style or firm of “Bishop and Smith,” has
been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 13th day of
April, 1929. All moneys owing to and all debts of the late
Partnership will be received and paid respectively by the
said Erle Molyneux Bishop, who will continue the business.
