Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Woodville Domain.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 24th day of April, 1929.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-five of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

George Peebles,
Richard Henry Morgan,
Arthur Clare Vowell,
John Elder,
John Murray,
Henry Palmer Horne, and
Joseph Cheney Bolton

to be the Woodville Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Saturday, the twenty-seventh day of April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the office of Mr. R. R. Johnston, Vogel Street, Woodville, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.


SCHEDULE.
WOODVILLE DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, containing by admeasurement 39 acres 3 roods 19 perches, more or less, being Rural Section 78, Block VIII, Woodville Survey District, Woodville County.

Also all that area in the Wellington and Hawke’s Bay Land Districts, containing by admeasurement 352 acres 2 roods 20 perches, more or less, being Sections 26, 27, and 38, Block I, Mangahao Survey District, Pahiatua County.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 24th day of April, 1929.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

William Harold Buckland,
Leslie David Hooker,
Kenneth Macphail,
Richard Andrews Mould, and
Thomas William Warner

to be the Wainui Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Saturday, the twentieth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Wainui Hall, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.


SCHEDULE.
WAINUI DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 3 roods, more or less, being Reserve 4051 (formerly part of Rural Section No. 727), situate in Block VII, Akaroa Survey District. Commencing at a point on the south-west boundary of Valley Road, the same being distant 443·5 links north-west from Wainui Beach Road; thence by a line south-westerly at right angles to Valley Road, 444·4 links; thence north-westerly by a line at right angles, 450 links; thence again at right angles north-easterly 444·4 links; thence south-easterly, 450 links, by the south-west boundary of Valley Road to the point of commencement: Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: Save and excepting thereout Reserve 3804, which is not included in the above-described area, and for which due allowance has been made.

Extending Time for holding Election of Trustees for Tahuna Drainage District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 24th day of April, 1929.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section ten of the Land Drainage Act, 1908, it is provided that on the first Monday in the month of November in the year following the year in which the first Trustees for any drainage district are elected, and on the same day in each succeeding third year thereafter, an election of Trustees for each district shall be held:

And whereas an election of Trustees for the Tahuna Drainage District should have been held on the fifth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight:

And whereas it is expedient to extend the time for holding such election of Trustees for the Tahuna Drainage District:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by section twenty-two of the Land Drainage Amendment Act, 1922, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby extend the time for holding the aforesaid election of Trustees for the Tahuna Drainage District; and doth hereby order and declare that in the aforesaid drainage district the said election shall be held and take place on Thursday, the thirtieth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine.

Altering Representation on the Wairau Harbour Board.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 24th day of April, 1929.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section thirty-one of the Harbours Act, 1923 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), it is enacted that the creation, abolition, merger, union, division, or other alteration of any constituent or combined district shall not in itself have any operation so as to affect the then existing membership of the Board, and that the Governor-General may from time to time by Order in Council, whenever in his opinion it becomes necessary or expedient so to do, make such provision with respect to the representation of any part of any constituent or combined district as he thinks fit:

And whereas by the said Act provision is made for the election of two members of the Wairau Harbour Board by the electors of the Omaka Road District:

And whereas the said road district has been abolished and the Omaka Riding of the Marlborough County has been constituted in lieu thereof, and it is necessary to make provision for the representation of the said district on the Harbour Board:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the hereinbefore-recited power and authority and of all other
